Ok. One last post before bed time. This is for all the anti-Vetiver talk. I'll be the first to admit that in the bottle it's pretty harsh. However tonight I splashed some on and let it settle in. All I can say is don't count it out; I'm sold on this stuff after one use. Tracy you didn't give it a chance bud. If you are a forest/mountain lover this is a great scent. It smells like Douglas Firs and tall Pines to me. Reminds me of hikes in the Black Hills as a kid. Furthermore my wife likes it too. She says it reminds her of Christmas--the tree thing again. I asked her if she thought it would be a good everyday scent outside of the holiday season and she said yes.

The menthol and alantoin are just an added bonus. Has that nice cool blast and a moist after effect. I let her smell the stuff straight from the bottle after she said she liked it. She agreed that in the bottle it's fairly nasty. This is one of those that needs to settle in w/ your body chemistry for a bit before passing judgment. It's about two hours later now, and I'm getting a very pleasant light, foresty aroma. I think this will go perfect w/ TOBS Eton College. I'm looking forward to trying the cream now, but that will have to wait a few days. I'm gonna give the slant a go tomorrow. Don't you dare get rid of this EO JoAnnA.

Well I just got home. I had a great night went to a friends had red velvet cake, watched Harry fricking potter (it is an audio track you play while watching the movie) and then threw black water ballons out of a 4th story window at drunken passers to see the reactions.

 

Morning guys!! WHoever is waiting on stuff, it is in the mail. Be patient. The guys around here who have gotten stuff from me in the past will tell you, I am fairly decent about samples and stuff. Well, here goes my catch up post.........................

Do you know anyone who wears contact lenses? If so, get an empty bottle on solution. They already have a reducer on them and work perfectly for AS's.

I have been fairly busy lately Shep. I have also gone back to the dark side on online poker but only for a brief 2 week period. I made some money to pay the govt and bills for a few months. Got out quick! I will be around more. GF comes back in town so I must behave myself Also Shep, how do you like the TSD AS? and how is the vetiver?

Edit: I saw your post earlier Some vetiver smells like hell but this sounds like a winner. Might have to give it a try. I am just glad you are honest in you feedback with products. Never candy coated!

Morning all. My sons birthday party is today so I won't be around for a good portion of the day. He is having a Batman party.

 

ugh I woke up too late. My back and shoulders hurt for some reason.

Heyyyyyyyyyyy-ooooo! Afternoon sports fans. I shaved with the slant and St. James today. First impressions: The St. James performs like all TOBS-great. The scent wasn't really for me however. I'm glad I got to try a sample before taking the plunge. Thanks Tracy. The slant. Gave me a real nice shave, but I didn't notice a huge difference between it and my superspeed. Perhaps I saved myself some touch up time with the slant. I did enjoy using it. The real issue is I need to switch blades. I really thought the Red IP's were the blade for me and for awhile they were. I guess with an improved technique they're just not cutting it. I have several other brands here and on the way that I will be testing over the next few weeks. When that process is over I'll be looking to unload some Red IP's to whomever is interested. And just to make sure we weren't crazy I splashed on the TSD Vetiver AS again. Just like last night. Smells like the woods. This time however I got to experience the menthol blast after a shave. Holy hell! That was intense and it lasted for several minutes. Good stuff.

Ok. Go post in that first car thread (w/ pics please). That's a cool thread. I'm gonna go throw a nice razor up on the BST if anyone is interested. It's half price so not a bad deal. Then I'll be back later.

 

I have a bad feeling that today is going to be a lazy day full of empty calories.
