Ohhhhh yesssssss. We could team him up with that Andersen guy who screwed up, *ahem* directed, Aliens v. Predators. I mean, that movie was served up to him on a silver platter, with the body of good comics books floating around out there. He tried hard to mess over that franchise, and boy, did he succeed. Anyway, the two of them might have one brain between them. Oh, and we need to add Uwe Boll in there somehow. Doesn't have to make sense. In fact, it probably shouldn't.

How old is Lee now? 1000? The man made Marvel comics. Him and Keith Richards need to 'fess up about what life extending drugs they've been taking.

If you're worried about canon and consistency, then don't bother with comic books. The things were made to be temporary and are just begging to be rewritten and modernized. I was impressed with how faithful Iron Man was to the source material, though.

Ken Brannaugh doing comic books? The English dept. at my alma matter will probably disown me, but I think that's pretty cool. I liked his version of Much Ado About Nothing, and thought his Hamlet was quite innovative. He just might be the guy to make a really, really cool Thor movie.

And you're the guy that lobotomized Lucas? Please give him his brain back so he'll have the sense to stop ruining classic franchises.

Little known fact:

Keith Richards has been dead for 27 years. They had him stuffed with animatronics so he would look like he was playing guitar. In 1995 they added in a mechanism to make his cigarette bob up and down to enhance the illusion that he was singing too!

Happy May 1 my peeps. It's a true Friday for Shep this week. Weekend off thank you very much. Don't know what I'll do with myself besides a whole lot of goofing off. Weekends are harder to fill when it isn't football season though.

I don't do movie theaters too much because of all the rude behavior and extraneous noise, but I am a moviephile (I wait for the DVD's). I'm looking forward to the latest installments of Star Trek and Terminator. That Christian Bale has turned into one kick a' actor so it should be good. Plus the effects in both movies should be great. Good popcorn flicks.

I've never heard of 4chan or /b/, but it sounds like they need jobs in the real world. Too much time on their hands...more than us even! However if they had anything to do w/ the whole Rick Roll thing then I'll give them props. That was pretty funny stuff.

 

Uwe Boll always wins. If he sucks at something, he'll just invite the people who call him on it into the boxing ring and beat the hell out of them.

A gaming journalist was dumb enough to take him up on the offer a year or two back. The guy figured it was a dumb publicity stunt, but Boll was an actual professional boxer and beat the tar out of him.

Speaking of Uwe Boll... wasn't he doing a movie version of Dungeon Siege? I wonder what happened to that... Probably ended up cast aside like Mech Warrior. At least it didn't end up being a cruddy movie like Wing Commander.
