Good morning everyone. I unpacked a few boxes last night and missed all the fun. Pretty funny to wake up with though.

My cat has finally stopped howling now. Dozens of moving boxes stacked around the house freaked her out more than just a little bit. Today I get to go back to Spokane again for cleaning and a couple runs to the dump. :happy036

Actually, I took that after buying Stuart's cap clutch and ding removal tools. It's one of my favorite P51 shots.

It's alright. I just spent the last 6 hours out at the "Cedar Lodge" making it woodshop-ready. One more day like this one and I'll be ready to make another bow or two. It's wonderful having a large workspace devoted to a task. :happy088

Seriously, try rescanning your channels. I wasn't getting anything either until the day of the deadline... now all of a sudden I'm getting several more channels. Give it a shot. You might be surprised.


So I'm watching Make: and my inner diy-geek kicks in and I start thinking... hmmm... how exactly does an ultrasonic cleaner work, anyway? It's pretty much just a tank vibrating at high speeds, right? Well, Harbor Freight sells these little handheld pad sanders for around $10 sometimes, and I've got a cd carousel just sitting around doing nothing. So, somebody stop me from gluing the bowl-like lid of the carousel to the pad on the sander and making a dirt-cheap razor destroyer. Think it'd work?

 

NO! Run away! Stop watching those idea-giving shows or you'll have you and me building an Iron Man suit out in my back yard. :mad: Ok, well, a SECOND Iron Man suit in my back yard!

 

I still say we only needed two more rolls of foil and an extra spool of bailing wire, and that thing would have been awesome.
