On a completely different line of thought, do any manufacturers make new injector razors? The one I have is all wonky and doesn't work, but I'm almost becoming obsessed with buying a new one, if they happen to exist.

I think the Cobra Classic is the only current one being made, and does not take regular injector blades.

Love the look, hate the price. Did I say hate? I mean Loathe, especially because I really really like the look. I just can't justify that kind of cost for something that I'm not sure will work for me.

It sure is pretty though. :D

Would you like to try an early E or G type? I have several of those lying around here and will gladly send you one if you want. Just PM me your addy if you do.

That Cobra Classic sure is pretty... but yeah, that price is a killer. :sick007

I have an E-type myself, but I've yet to pick up any injector blades for it.
I guess I should have done that when Bong did the group buy from Ted Pella.

There's one (actually three, but same model) Injector that I'm following on the evilBay. It looks cool as hell, but I'm not jinxing myself by believing it'll stay at a reasonable cost for the next five days.

And I know what you mean.
There's been a recent spike in the popularity of the late model Injectors and the pricing has gone accordingly.

Are you near a CVS Greg? Their house brand blades worked fine for me and are a relatively cheap way to see if you like an injector.

I pass a CVS here and there.
I'll have to stop and see if they still carry them.
So many places have started trimming down their product offerings and a lot of the legacy stuff is getting dropped. :(

This trend is noticable in all vintage shave equipment I believe.

Sweet link. Thanks! I'm kind of surprised that no other company has jumped on to making new model injectors in the same way that Merkur, Muehle, Edwin Jagger (and others) continue to produce DE razors.

    Oh, indeed.
But some things seem to rise and fall in popularity, and it seems that right now the late model Injectors are on the rise.

You're too nice, I just wouldn't add their name to the list. When they ask why, tell them to re-read the rules b/c there must have been some misunderstanding...
Why does she always have to repeat herself?

    hehe...at least it's not "Matt, can't say that....Matt, can't say that..." this time! :D
