Yup those Acers look nice.. but last I checked it is cheaper to buy it direct than to use our discount on one. Forced included software makes it worthless to do a purchase through the school system.

nevermind... you are prolly talking about the Acer Seed program.

I was thinking of educator purchases... which I think our discount program is through DELL which bundles so much junk into the computer it is cheaper to just go to the store to buy it.

    yeah, the Acer seed program

the Dell deals I've looked at for educators haven't been loaded with bloatware, but I haven't looked real in depth at them either. someone told me to check on dell.com/sb (small business - that's not the exact URL anymore, but it will redirect you) and get far better deals

I sprayed a little scotch-guard on one of the shoes--- and the ink started bleeding a little.

Looked at the label... contains acetone! d'oh!

I'm so mad at myself for not catching that...

They're still okay, but the one shoe is just a little more blurry than the other one... but it's enough to aggrivate me.

So, you guys are still here. Good. Y'all crossed my mind the other day. An old friend of my dads stopped by, and wanted to stop over his place and say hello. Poor old guy had not heard of dads passing away. We sat around the pouch, drinking a few beers, and talking about their adventures. One particular story came up that I remember dad telling you guys. Apparently, dad was not just high all those years ago out California. He actually spent about half a day with Timothy Leary!! How wild is that!?!?

Sometimes I have wondered how much of those old stories were just that, stories. Stories told to make up for what some would call a wasted life. Then, once in while, I will run into an old acquaintance of his and learn that some outlandish tale he regaled us with while on one his many benders was actually true. Amazing...

I just wanted to get that out, and thought you were the perfect people to tell. After all, he had some wild stuff happen during his times at TSD and B&B. All of which, I can attest to their validity.

Anyway, sorry I do not find more time to chat with you guys. Life seems to move faster every day. My family is doing great. The kids are healthy, my wife is a PITA, and work is... well.... work. My overall shaving technique is nearly perfected, as is my equipment.

So, how the hell are all you people doing? And where the hell are the chips?!?!

Well, I'm made it ok without my notes and such. I hope you all are having a fine evening.

I worked on a bow this morning. It's coming out nicely. It's the brother of the one I broke the other day. Maybe this one will be the 'good son.'

Hey Jason - it's good to see you in here! That's pretty wild about your dad and Timothy Leary. It's amazing to run into people that knew our parents way back when. I've had that experience a few times now (my old man was a cop, so there are a lot of odd stories).

I think we're all doing pretty well... the chips (or what's left of them) are at my place. C'mon over...

    Morning, all!

Called it an early night last night, as I had to get up early. Driving to Raleigh to pick my mommy up from the airport.
