It's Sunday afternoon, just got back from church, football is on, and I'm at work. :mad: That ain't right. Maybe if I'd get off here and get to it, I can get my work done and leave. :happy088

 

It is a beautiful day out. Daughter participated and did wonderful at Soccer today. Woo Hoo - no tantrums!

Football is on, and yet... I am about to pull out a stack of grading and join you.

 

Yep, I'm heading to work too. Need to put in a few hours before Monday arrives. Deb's doing much better today; the effects of the concussion are starting to subside, so I feel like I can leave her here for a few hours while I go try to break firmware. Hope everyone's having a nice Sunday!

Welppppp another night at work.. woohoo. been raining here all day.. All the streets were flooded... fun stuff wore my hunting boots to work.

So you are the eye in the sky... mysterious and hidden...

I didn't spend much time in the New Iberia area (Forgive me for lumping Jeanerette in; New Iberia is my point of reference.). The restaurant at Le Rosier stands out in my mind. Not an everyday place to eat but I've had great duck there. I know there are other good restaurants around New Iberia. I just can't remember them at the moment.

I really miss Louisiana food. One of the things that still makes Louisiana special and unique. Where else can you get crawfish in an omelet or on a pizza.

The Jungle Gardens at Avery Island are pretty cool. But, the Tabasco factory stuff is a cheap façade. Almost all of the production is in far-off countries. The film strip they added later is crap. (Sorry, I feel strongly about what happened over the years.)

Yep, I miss Louisiana...

I agree. I think my question was answered. I would tell you if it worked, but I don't have any mineral oil to try the fix. I'll buy some later this week.

Had a decent evening at work. I normally work days, but I was trying to catch up a bit. My son took me to dinner at JITB and now I'm chilling with SRV. Need to catch some zzz's here pretty soon before 6am rolls around again.

Sometimes.. right now not that many.. mostly busy with the house stuff.. there are a lot of things behind the scenes we deal with up here.
