Yeah, it's gotta be rough.
There is talk about other groups trying to get Harley to release the Buell name so the company can go on, but thus far it's just smoke.
Regardless, I had to take advantage of the deep discounts.
I even got the VIP service package and extended warranty... figured I'd do it right this time.

 

Color me jealous, I was always curious about the Buell's too, they really do have a lot of neat features and innovations.

 

Well, if you're still curious, my advice is to find a H-D dealer who still has some left and give one a test ride before they're all gone!
It might even be worth a little debt

 

As tempting as that sounds, between my bad back and teenage kids, a sportbike (any motorcycle really) is out of the question. :mad:

Morning all.

Wife was sewing all night so I couldn't get to my computer.

Hmmm... its almost 7:30 and only myself and the pets are up. I guess that means we will be missing our 8AM target for getting on the road. We are heading down to Indianapolis for the weekend. Nothing too exciting, just staying someplace with a pool for the daughter and going to the Halloween thing at the Indy zoo. Ummmm.. are the Colts playing in town or at St. Louis? Argh! I can't believe I didn't think about that before now (Zoo entrance is just down the road from the RCA dome entrance... . traffic could be fun)... open tab to check.....

whew... they are away.

Jason, I am out of town for a day or so; however, if you don't mind waiting a little longer, I have an HD slant I won't be using for the next few weeks that I can loan you when I get back in town.

 

Is the HD slant the one with the long handle?

Love the new avatar, Fuzzy. Great work, Jim! Sorry Jason, I'm not sure which slant is which either (and I own one).

I'm gonna grab a shower and shave, and then head for moscow to give blood and hunt through an antique shop. Pen work planned for later. Fun day!

 

The me is outstanding as usual Sir. Fired up about going to work today. Going to use that 1912 ER you sent me for da shave.

We're good. The weather's beautiful. The son's got a good attitude. The daughter had a night terror during her nap and screamed for an hour, but that's only the second one of those she's ever had in her short life.

Got a question for youse guys. I bought a razor through the TSD classifieds back in the beginning of September. The seller's in Bulgaria. He writes in English but there still seem to be some gaps in communication. If I understood correctly, he had to wait for my paypal payment to clear. This took close to a week. Again, if I understand right the razor shipped on Sept. 11th. I don't have it. I pm'd him a while back and he did not respond. I pestered him a lot before he shipped the razor. I don't like to be a pain in the rear, and I recognize that the razor may have been lost in the mail. We're not talking about a lot of money here so I don't care about recovering the payment. (less than 20 dollars) I really want the razor I paid for. It was this really cool looking soviet copy of an open comb Gillette three piece. Anybody got advice on how to proceed?
