That she is. I am doing ok.. did some work for my brother in farm town. Just taking it easy. Soon back to nap land me thinks.

Odd to be home on a Thursday like this. So, I woke up yesterday with a bit of the runs. It happens. During the trip to work, I just kept felling worse. By the time I arrived in Annapolis, my head was pounding, and the coffee and bagel I ate on the way came right back up. After trudging through half a day at work, I decided to call the Doc. Went last night, got a few tests, and found out I have H1N1!!!!! Not too bad though. I am taking some pills twice a day. Tamaflu, I think. Seems to work pretty good. The wife and kids are staying over at her mothers for a few days, so they do not get sick too. Oh yeah, while I was still at work, one of the carpenters was telling me how his nephew (23 year old kid) died just last weekend from this same flu.


Rodd, GO TO THE DOCTORS!!!!!!!

 

Oh yeah, I will not be sending out any packages until next week. The last thing I want to have happen is for this stuff to get sent via USPS to one of you guys.

 

Rest up and get better soon. I can wait for the Star hehe.

How to determine the gender of the person in the vehicle in front of you

Okay, so this morning my wife and I leave for work.
We both work at a school district ~15 miles away, so most mornings we're able to ride together and have a 20 minute just us time.
This morning, after a rather frustrating drive through our town - a drive from our house to the major highway that should only be about 3 minutes took about 9, complete with every red light, a loooong train, people turning left, people turning right, etc. - we got finally got to Hwy. 59.
All during the trip, a white Mitsubishi SUV was all over my back bumper, and then it would try to pass, and only end up behind a turning vehicle, and have to fall back behind me.
I thought to myself "this jackass really needs to be more patient, we've ALL got to get to work, and no one is enjoying this traffic this morining"
Well, we get through the intersection, get to the two lane portion, and off he goes, as fast as his will wishes.
He got about 10 car lengths ahead, and stayed there, the whole trip to the next town.
So let me get this straight, you're in SUCH a hurry, wanting around me so bad, only to get the chance to and stay directly in front of me the whole trip?
I've got my cruise on 70, but have to keep slowing down slightly at moments, and then returning to cruise speed, because he's slowing down at really odd times - big curves and hills I can understand, but long straights?

Well, that should've been 1st clue.
We get to the town, we both take the first right to go through down town, and I notice on the road we're getting onto, a pickup truck waiting it's turn to go West turn onto the highway with 3 men in the cab.
And then I notice as the white Mitsubishi passes them, all 3 simultaneously experience whiplash as they snap their heads around to look...hmmm, nothing striking about the vehicle, plain ole everyday automobile.
So I take a closer gander....ah-ha! Young lady driving the vehicle!

All that just to say, it was hilarious watching those three guys all snap their heads around at the same time :happy097
