I'm still here but getting sleepy, and afraid if I don't go to bed I'll buy more sweaters.

Oh boy. I don't think I know anyone that shops as much as you do.

I've given up on trying to make you not spend money.

haha it's ok though, this isn't my money. :happy102 I'm actually suppose to be spending about $400 on winter clothes but I think I'm done now. As far as my spending goes I haven't bought any junk for a while.

edit: I should also mention that I have absolutely zero debt aside from my college loan.

No worries. You should buy some junk and send it to me.

So you're done with winter shopping? Gloves, scarves, hats, etc.?

Ok it's definitely bed time, I think I'm done shopping for a while. I can't think of anything in the world that is even remotely reasonable that I still want to buy aside from the stuff I'm getting for christmas.

yup, ordered northface gloves, picked up a cute avon scarf, got 180s earmuffs, and an esprit tweed hat. I also picked up something like 12 nice fuzzy sweaters from a few random brands and a couple of long sleeve tshirts for under them. Actually now that I think of it I could use some more undies (sort of), eh I'll go to the mall over the break.

Scarves are exceptionally useful. So is a pair of glare-reducing sunglasses. My eyes are very sensitive to light and I will wear dark glasses in the winter to prevent glare coming up off the snow. They also block wind from hitting your eyes. Do you have snowshoes/boots?

I have a pair I got last year, not sure what brand they are but they're black and kind of fuzzy. I got those rain boots today that I put up in the thread. I figured if they aren't super warm I can put on an extra pair of socks and I should be fine. I definitely have sunglasses covered

mine have a pink tint to them and do an impressive job. I've definitely learned you get what you pay for when it comes to sunglasses (to an extent, I wouldn't pay more then $200 for a pair). I always use to buy little cheapie mall sunglasses but they would break and didn't do a good job. I bought those 7 months ago and they are still looking brand new.

I agree with you to an extent. Sunglass lenses are not all created equally. The cheap ones you find in a pharmacy do not do a good job. I've had the same pair of Oakleys for about ten years - would have one for longer if it hadn't been stolen. I really like their lenses. They seemed best to me when I bought them.
