Okay, so I indulged in a little guilty pleasure last night and watched Crank2: High Voltage.


This film is wrought with filth, gratuitous nudity, coarse language and obscene violence.


So yeah, basically--I loved it!

You go into a movie like this expecting a certain calibre of entertainment (low brow, lots of ridiculous action, etc.) and it completely delivers on all fronts. There was a little more naked Jason Statham hind-end than I would have liked, and there's a proctology at gunpoint scene I really could have lived without, but it was exactly what I expected.

If you watch it all the way through, they totally set things in motion and hint at the possibility of a Crank 3.

 

hmmm, still gotta watch Crank 1, but I have a suspicion it will have to wait until MLB is out of town for a bit

 

Might wanna shoot for out of state.

We really need to get the striped sweater brigade together for a guys only movie marathon. 2 or 3 back to back movies that our wives would disapprove of.

The striped sweater brigade is a throwback to across the street... it was a group of "Waldo" regulars.

I'm actually not using any of those... just couldn't make it work.

I can believe it... I tried running through the series with each of the 4 out and the best I saw was Peppermint... but unless you display all the series at once it wouldn't work.

Wow. I never knew about those. I remember enjoying Disney comic books back in the day - but they were nothing like those.
