Never seen it, and it does not look like anything I would watch anyway.

yeah, I didn't watch most of it, but some parts stood out as hilarious, like Chris Tucker waking up in a chicken cage...or something like that

I wouldn't have picked it on my own, but it does have some funny parts.

but, now you know how I know that 2nd one :D

Never watched Friday or Next Friday and never want to. However, the Next Friday title caused a few laughs at the video rental place. "Ok, Next Friday is due next Tuesday." :happy102 "Next Friday is due tomorrow" ;)

Throw in some Adams Family FTW!
I'm taking the train to Morrow on Thursday with my girlfriend, Wednesday, and I'd like to watch 'Next Friday'...is food being served on this train? Great, I'd like to have the porter bring a sundae to the room. My name? Oh, it's Monday. You might recognize me from Mathnet. I used to solve crimes using math, but now I cut hair at Saturdays.

Next year, the HYD group should do a Secret Santa amongst themselves only.

    Oooh, cool!
We could do it in June or something! :D

seriously, I wanted so bad to participate this year, and even asked about it a few weeks ago before it was announced, but by the time it officially started, there was no way I could financially participate :(

chilly is certainly the word for it.. at least we got up the 20s

    brilliant!

    Double Brilliant!

how about seeing that it is a HYD thing... we have the gift exchange when we hit a big K mark like 60K or 75K?

yup... I was excited about it until I saw the $50 thing. Then I realized how on gift exchanges I either end up looking like a heel because I stick to the limit when everyone else blows past it or I end up getting a $2 gag gift after spending way too much time fretting about what I am giving.

I like the HYD gift exchange idea, esp. if tied to a page count or post number threshhold.

However- I had the same reaction when I saw the amount. We don't have that kind of money right now. The wife handles most of the finances and we went over christmas spending the other day. We really don't have the money.

I like the idea, but I'm not sure how we'd pull it off. I almost always end up in the situation Justin describes...

I think the HYD gift exchange is a great idea.

So was Velcro. I love Velcro!!

Hmmm.. I wonder if we are just the right group of misfits to make something like this actually work? Just not at the moment... too much due this month on top of all the holiday spending and traveling...

    Velcro is awesome!

So how is the recovery going?

Justin, I have done my fair share of fighting, and have lost many a battle. my recovery comes in stages. Right now, I am probably going to work in the morning. I still look like something out of a sci-fi movie, but the pain is fading fast. Hopefully I will be able to chew my food again for Christmas dinner.

That is the one thing that I hate. Getting kicked in the temple. It is bad enough when it happens, with the white noise and confusion. But for weeks afterward, chewing anything is a painful chore.
