too many tornadoes, too short a time....what a great Christmas! [/sarcasm]

actually, it is a great Christmas, for as much as the reporters could find out, LEO and emergency crews only found minor damage, except at the FedEx facility in Longview, and so far no major injuries, just incedental types from those either unfortunate to be caught in a flash flood, or those dumb enough to go out in the flash floods.

but, I'm a tad nervous to turn my Christmas lights on with all the large puddles of water in the yard!

 

Jim, glad you escaped the trip to Oz and that the damage wasn't worse.

Dom, I am surprised that your wheels are still true. Its not as good news as not breaking any bones, but still, that is still surprising in a good way.

Hey.... I do have some bacon... chicken bacon ranch flatmelts... hmmmmm why not?

So far no major accidents here with the ice storm and we still have power. Wife had to drive to work today but made it in OK even if it took an extra half hour.

Why do I get all sappy over Annabelle's Wish? Of all the holiday movies why is it a cartoon about a boy and a cow that gets to me?

Oh well... back to the Holiday special-a-thon with the daughter.

 

I was driving up to DeQueen when the bottom fell out yesterday. I'm not sure, but I must have driven through some of the fringes of all the worst activity, because it was miserable. I should probably have someone drive by and make sure there aren't any wicked witches under my house.

 

all clear...however, I don't want to know what they were up to inside your house; weird spells, big cauldron, all running around naked, eating......errrr, wait......I uhhh, guess I'd better go in for a closer inspection, you know, looking out for your, ummm, br....uhhh, best interests...

well, I'm off...and also gone, too...if I end up typing tomorrow as a frog, at least you'll know why :rofl

in all seriousness, though, there actually is a fraction of a percentage of an actual real number of a chance that that white, floaty type of precipitation may reach here tonight!
and Micah, I'll be surprised if you don't see any tonight, if ya'll're still in DeQueen for the evening...roads were flooded pretty bad all of TXK last night, you may not want to drive through it anyway
