Sorry I haven't been around much.
Between holiday stuff and other distractions I haven't had a lot of time to post up.

I hope everyone had a good Christmas and that you'll be having more fun on NYE than I will be. (Yes, work has sequestered me yet again)

And I'm doing ok for the most part.
I had an upper respiratory infection last week, but antibiotics have knocked that out. Now I'm just dealing with the nagging cough brought on by the dreaded cedar blooms of Central TX.

 

I'd never heard of cedar pollens causing allergies before. What a mess. Sounds much like what I've been going through since last May here in the Palouse (which roughly translates to 'sea of grass'). Flonase and Zyrtec are my dear friends!

Well, what we call 'cedar' is actually Mountain Cedar or juniper.
Some of us are allergic to it, other people are just affected because of the sheer volume of it in the air.

Actually, between ragweed and cottonwood, I am not sure my allergic wife would notice the difference.

So why is it we usually only see 2 out of the 3 of Jim's multiple personalities? Where's Mike?

 

mike is dealing with a Daughter with a Respiratory Infection. Not serious enough for hospitalization, but serious enough for nebulizer treatments, steroids, and expectorants.

The kid's completely miserable, which means we're completely miserable.

In other news, I've found a good combo for the MP I just bought. MP + Personna Blade = excellent shave. Doesn't matter what variety of MP. They all seem to work well.

Sorry to hear about the sick kids... I am sure that puts a damper on the New Years plans. They old enough to make it to the drop?

I will definitely try some Personnas on the MP (Muehle Pinsel R89) when it makes it back.

 

I think I might be trying to get an ear infection.

I am, however, certain that my new avatar is delightfully obscure.
