In all reality, I did try for a couple of years to be a Dallas fan...
grew up not liking them, because my Dad didn't like them. And the vast majority of folks in this area are Cowboy fans. I was in the next largest group, anti-Cowboy because everyone else around is pro-Cowboy.
In college where there were a few less Cowboy fans, I did actually try to like them, being a home-state team, and me in an out of state college.
    Couldn't do it.
    Don't like them.
There's been some players I really liked, but couldn't make myself like the team.

I still don't even have a favorite pro team. I like the Saints, Steelers, Patriots, Texans...but no pro team I "claim".

Guess the Crimson Tide take up too much room :D

It could be worse... you could be a closet cheesehead...

Born and spent most of boyhood in Wisconsin. Packers were really bad some of those years. I remember a game with them and the Colts when they were both 0 wins and lots of losses go into overtime and both teams missing field goals and the packers giving up a safety or something like that to lose the game.. yeah.. they were bad. But I was in a cheesehead family in a cheesehead area. Back then I was a closet Bears fan...

Wife is from Ohio and her family has been involved at Miami (Oh) university where Rothelsberger went (yes, I saw him play there). So... follow Steelers, Bengals, Packers, Bears, and now that Favre is wearing purple... I am following them.. but only for Favre. Oh yeah... the Saints...

This should be noted for all commuters who has to deal with traffic. This was sent to me in an email, and I thought it was soooooooo true!!

I was riding to work yesterday when I observed a female driver who cut right in front of a pickup truck, causing the driver to drive onto the shoulder to avoid hitting her.
This evidently angered the driver enough that he hung his arm out his window and gave the woman the finger.
'Man, that guy is stupid,' I thought to myself. I ALWAYS smile nicely and wave in a sheepish manner whenever a female does anything to me in traffic, and here's why:

I drive 48 miles each way every day to work. That's 96 miles each day. Of these, 16 miles each way is bumper-to-bumper.
Most of the bumper-to-bumper is on an 8 lane highway.

There are 7 cars every 40 feet for 32 miles. That works out to 982 cars every mile, or 31,424 cars.

Even though the rest of the 32 miles is not bumper-to-bumper, I figure I pass at least another 4000 cars. That brings the total number to something like 36,000 cars that I pass every day.

Statistically, females drive half of these. That's 18,000 women drivers!

In any given group of females, 1 in 28 has PMS. That's 642.
According to Cosmopolitan, 70% describe their love life as dissatisfying or unrewarding. That's 449.

According to the National Institute of Health, 22% of all females have seriously considered homicide. That's 98.

And 34% describe men as their biggest problem. That's 33.

According to the National Rifle Association, 5% of all females carry weapons and this number is increasing.
That means that EVERY SINGLE DAY,
I drive past at least one female that has a lousy love life, thinks men are her biggest problem, has seriously considered homicide, has PMS, and is armed.
Give her the finger? I don't think so.

I'd advise being careful with cheater pipes and/or standing on the lug wrench. As others have pointed out, lugs can and will break, but perhaps more likely (as I've had happen) the lugwrench itself might break. If you've got a cheap cross shaped lugwrench, the little tap weld in the middle is definitely a weak point and might well snap loose on you. Not fun.

Awww, those bite-sized texas shaped waffles are cute, aren't they? Round here, we like to sprinkle those on top of our waffles like candy decoration. ;)

I told one parishioner the story about my car tire problem, and he volunteered to come out and put the spare on this afternoon. yes, the lugwrench did bend. yes, he did stand on it. but it's off and the spare's on.

Yeah, actually, a bit. We Texans feel the need to brag about everything else being bigger just so "other things" don't seem quite so frighteningly huge. We'd hate to scare anyone, you know. :D
