my daughter's been wanting, begging, and praying for a good, decent snow for years now, and now that we're finally getting it, she's got fever, sore throat, and generally mopey.

 

Oikos is what is I found, is the only kind I've seen around here, but I haven't looked in Texarkana yet.

Okay, quick confession time:

A) I love The Goonies....just finished watching it; cheesy as all get-out, but one of those guilty pleasures

B) on a little bit more critical side: I ain't had a good shave in over 2 weeks; passable, sure - but down-right enjoyable, no. The ones that had constant interruptions are understandable, but they ended up being the better ones.
Not sure if it's just simply the weather, water, or what, but it just hasn't been great.

Oh well.

morning all. it's a snow day in Pineville, LA. Office is closed. The kids are cooped up. And it's kinda pretty outside.

Likewise on Goonies. Maybe it just suits our taste, or lack thereof.

What's your current shave setup?

I had an awesome shave this morning. TSD unscented cream + MP R89 w/ red pack personna blade. I'm really growing to enjoy face lathering.

 

yeah, snow day here, too. but, we still have to drive 30 minutes to Texarkana to take daughter to her doctor, running 102.x fever this morning.

I've been trying a bunch of different creams the past couple of weeks, but I've kept familiar ones in the mix, and even those weren't doing me well.
I'm thinking the water and weather, honestly. Been sticking to my good razors and blades.
This morning's shave was actually pretty good, tried some Godrej.....dangit! I really need to be on my game, I should've went with TSD ISZ and AV for the snow!!!! carp!

 

Weird, I've been having ho-hum shaves most of the week also. Slight irritation has been the theme, which is rarely an issue. Finally was a great shave last night using the Weishi and a Crystal. Guess I needed a mild combination to get back in the groove.

 

I'm ashamed to say I haven't shaved since before Christmas break... The beard is coming in pretty well though!

yeup, Yay! Snow Day!!!!

I've been growing my beard since before Halloween, but the I've also been trimming it, and shaving my neck and high cheeks.
I haven't been having any irritation, but they just haven't been very close or smooth.
Maybe it's just me, though

Sure has been busy around the house lately. Between work and snow, my days just disappear into night before I even get started it seems. So, what is up around here?
