I'm starting to understand why sharks seem to be attacking so often!

 

Just when I thought I could appreciate Bruce Willis, he goes and does something as stupidly offensive as starring in a movie with Traci Morgan. And I really was starting to find BW tolerable. Too sad. Too sad.

 

Haven't tried that - or any moustache wax for that matter. I keep meaning to pick up some so I can turn my moustache ala Snidely Whiplash for fun one of these days.

Here's one from the ain't that a kick in the head department:

So, I've got a beast of a server... planning on adding Win2k8 r2 and ultimately making it the PDC for my network, moving my domain over to a different IP range in the process. Big plans for the summer and all that.

Well, for the time being, I planned to just set it up and join it to the domain like a workstation and host an app or two off of it.

Guess what. You can't join Server 2008 to an NT4 domain.

Ain't that a kick in the head? :mad:

makes sense, I guess. Surely it'll work in a 2003 domain? Guess I better look that up, huh?

 

It can join a 2k3 domain, as far as I know... but NT4 just won't work... so now I'm trying to figure out another way to make it accessible from the domain... might just have to wipe it out and put xp on or something for the time being.

 

ugh... work up this morning with a massive migraine. I was supposed to take daughter and her friend up to Chicago to Shedd Aquarium today for part of daughter's 10th birthday. Thankfully the two girls just had fun in daughter's room, we went out to eat, and now wife is taking them to see Tooth Fairy. My migraine didn't let up until the snow started falling at 11. huh....

So I guess during the two hours of non girl chatter, I should try to get my grading done that I brought home...

 

we took our kids to see Tooth Fairy last night, it's better than I anticipated.
still the amount of cheesiness you'd expect from such a movie, but it was rather entertaining.

 

surely, surely, surely there has to be some way it can participate?

I am in the process of adding a hyper-v windows xp station on it, in hopes that I can at least let it join the domain.
