You could just wait for the re-make.
99% of remakes can kiss my buhonkus
nice FB avatar, btw! wow
Twas a joke.
My siblings and I refuse to see the re-make of Willy Wonka. Johnny Depp is no Gene Wilder, I'll tell you that.
yeah, I figured it was
and no, I've not watched, nor plan to watch, the new Willy Wonka, either.
speaking of movies....how's that going for you now, Micah? :rofl
Hey! how's it going? and thanks
amen, preach it sister! It would be nice if Hollywood would get back to making original films. But that would require imagination. And having a soul...
Obligatory XKCD....(there's a wordy-dird, so no embedded image...sorry)
"Your legs! They’re stuck in... something... quite... disgusting. Oh, crap. I give up."
Somehow I don't think of that as a re-make. Now, I'm a big fan of both Messrs. Wilder and Depp, and I find that their performances were each so unique that the movies stand as two different tellings of the same tale, and not one as a retelling of the other. It all makes sense in my head.
After this weekend, maybe I'll be able to get myself back on track. I've been missing my movies and I just picked up 5 more this weekend at the 3 dollar bin at big lots. Including the one that has ginger rogers singing in pig latin! You know that will have to be reviewed. On the other hand, I also picked up a copy of Marvel Ultimate Alliance for the PS2...
Generally I'm okay with this sentiment. Just don't deny me as many possible versions of Alice in Wonderland as possible. Okay?
that sounds like a fair deal to me.
Why did that make me think of some sort of Wayne/Bruce Willis hybrid?
Ok, I'm enjoying this one waaaaay more than I should:
That came out on DVD? I haven't watched that since they started making sequels. I wonder if the over sensitive 10 year old can handle it....
Somehow I knew that would be posted here in some form. Most sysadmins I worked around would also find a few flunky code monkeys to stand guard... actually that part reminds me of a bit from the Hitchhiker series... let me see if I can find what I want to quote from good old DA...
Makes good sense to me. I thought the actual book was much darker than the original movie. Not a remake but a completely different interpretation of the same original text.
On the other hand, I can't stand the Grinch remake... but then again, I am a grinch.
Charlie..... YOU LOSE!
Oooh no.... no Charlie the Unicorns... no....
Charlie... we're naked... OK... we aren't... But I keep hearing rumors that Jim is back to his pantless activities.
Wow... that is like more than I have put on this thread in like a month. You know... its like so um.... like um...
awe - freakin' - some!
