They're Lucky Brand -- the model is Emery.

We're calling them Michael Douglas glasses, though the ones I'm getting are more square. :D

    SCORE!

Picked up 4 10packs of Gem Blue Stars for 1.00 each.

The Hellmart in Vivian had a metric buttload of them on clearance.
I hope you guys appreciate my self control.

Now, anybody know if those blades are any good?

They are good... For me they last 2-3 shaves and are better than a PAL SE blade but not as good as a Pella GEM. I keep an eye out for them around here and feel good when I can get a 10 pack for $4.

    Great snag!

Sunday Morning just did a piece on Axe body spray. It had the mothers of some kids who use axe complaining about the fact that you could smell the kids from the other end of the house. They asked the boys' coach about the smell, and he said it was overwhelming. Then they asked some 8th grade girls. Their response? "It smells nice."

What is wrong with kids these days?

Girls making guys look like idiots through the tease of sex.

Worked on Sampson. I'd venture even that wasn't the first time.

Mornin' fellas. Been a while since I posted around here. Been pretty normal for a change. I decided to waterproof my work-boots and ended up using a half a tub of Sno-Seal doing so. It is amazing, how much of that stuff new leather can soak up. I used a heat gun to help thew leather drink up each coat, and I just kept on rubbing it on until the leather would not absorb anymore. ANy of you guys ever used Sno-Seal?

So, what is good around here lately?

It's been years since I used snow-seal. The snow in Colorado doesn't stick around long enough to bother treating my boots so well. That and my work boots are so abused they only last a few years anyway.

I alsways use sno-seal for my hiking boots......

In my opinion the best there is for the tough job of preserving your boots :happy088

Yeah, normally mine get tossed after a few years too. But, I just invested over $400 in a new pair of Whites Boots "Smoke Jumpers". So, I am doing whatever it takes to preserve them for many years of use.

Is it really even possible to use too much of the product?

If yoy have Gore-Tex boots, everything is to much according to the vendor....

But I like my boots really waterproof and I smear the stuff to the maximum :D

Put the boots in an oven at a low temperature to get the pores really open and apply the sno-seal untill it doesn't absorb anymore.

That's my trick, but I'm sure there are plenty of others :D

Or here's an alternate translation of what's said and heard:

Girls- "It smells nice" = wearer stinks less than usual.*

Boys - "It smells nice" = wearer has a chance with said Girl. In the adolescent mind, this means more scent increases chance with said Girl. Thus, the extreme odor.

    * Remember, "that's nice" translates to "<expletive> off" in Southern english. Thus, depending on the usage and voice inflection, "it smells nice" could mean anything from "it stinks" to "dear God almighty get that stench away from me."
