Now... if the car only had a RAD deflector.

Odd several days. I woke up this morning with a crash at 3AM. A table toppled over (I must have kicked it in my sleep). No big deal... just some bits of porcelain.... a pair of glass picture frames... and a laptop.

So everything is back together. Only problems are a couple of stuck pixels on the screen and a bent up wonky wireless card. Upon straightening the card, it actually works but you have to sit in the room with the router, or it won't get signal. But hey... its what I am typing on at the moment. So its all good.. Besides, I think I got all the bits of glass out of my feet.

Now... I wonder why I am so sleepy?

 

wow dude, that kinda sucks...but at least the laptop is working

 

In addition to all of us, naps are your friends.

 

I know why I'm sleepy - can't get comfortable with this darn splint

and the naps were oh so good for the coupla days I had to take them

as usual, many of the comments were great; of course, I saw thid before you posted it, so there's probably lots more humor to read now....

I ask myself this all the time. And one answer always comes back: you're a parent, and parents are always sleepy. Durn kids.

and the best thing is that naps never encourage your various A.D.s They're just there for your sleepy goodness.

I'm still warn out all the time, though. I can't imagine a life with kids. I'm convinced I'd kill myself.

 

My office is in the teacher work room--where they eat lunch.

I've been sitting here listening to everyone b*tch and moan about "Slingblade" and "Stringbean." (Jim, you know who I'm talking about.) While, technically, nothing they've said is untrue, it gets annoying after a while. Negativity is such an infectious disease. I get that you are unhappy with a coworker, now, can we talk about something good in your life? Or better yet, let's enjoy our meal in peace and quiet, Lord knows you don't get any of that in your classroom.

and yes, exactly how much to griping and complaining solve the issue?

 

CFBC? "can't find barbecue chicken"?* Or maybe "cuban food brings cancer" or how about "charcoal found by chiuaua?"

as for negativity- man are you ever right. one of my favorite sayings is "can't complain. won't help if I did, anyway."

*I know it stands for child free by choice. I saw an opportunity for an awful joke and took it.
