I forgot to mention a funny story from Saturday - we took the kids to the Little Rock Zoo before going to see Emily, just to have a little something extra for the 3+ hour trip. They have camels and offer camel rides, but we didn't opt for it. When we got to the camels, my daughter asked if she could pet one, the guy said yes and brought one over. My daughter asked the camel's name, and believe it or not, he said Emily! We all had a good smile at the coincidence.

 

Who could sleep with fresh bread baking?

I've got to hit the hay so I can wake up and shave!

So far so good. Aching from yesterdays pretzel session for 24 x-rays for my Arthritis.
Humidty broke here with some welcomed rain last night. The temp is comfortable we won't hit 90 today hopefully.

 

Yeeeeaaaah.... I'm probably about to lose my star on IO9.

Seems so.

The star is sort of like an Emmy. It's an elusive prize, given by the people in power to the people who amuse them in some way. I haven't discovered that it really has any value, other than to say that I now can give a thumbs up to people who make comments I like. It's sort of like the points on Who's Line, as best I can tell.

By the way, keep checking that link, the discussion rolls on!

Turned my ankle this morning trying to avoid Jim's streaking through the thread. It wasn't too bad and I walked 3 miles and rode my bike for 11.5. Showered, shaved, fixed lunch, tried to stand up...

huh... ankle isn't doing so well now.

Micah, I can't say that I had even heard/read of io9 before.... How many sites you stir up trouble on? (note, you are often correct...)

Sadly, this is pretty much true. I guess I'm a strife-bringer. I can't believe I haven't been banned from here, yet.

 

actually, my intent was not "Micah stirs up trouble everywhere he's at", but more the sarcastic "I don't know how Micah does it, but he's a member on every frickin' website known to man, and 6 that aren't known to man"

 

That is about the conclusion I have come to as well.

Oh well, time to go get kiddo at school. Debating the whole usual walking to get her thing and may just let the weather radar convince me to drive.
