Speaking of food... the girlfriend and I had tomato soup and grilled cheese for dinner tonight. A little bit of comfort food awesomeness.

What were you doing with para-cord? I am a big fan of the 550 cord, and use it for just about everything.

 

making some bracelets for the kids, key fobs, etc. whatever I find that strikes my interest to try and make.
It's fun stuff, I've had about 100' for several years now, keeping it around for "emergency" purposes, but never came about needing it, found a website through EDCForum for Stormdrane's blog, man that dude makes some amazing stuff with paracord, check it out

 

I believe he is on Bladeforums or Jerzeedevil. I have seen his work on one of those forums. Have you ever been on Jerzeedevil?

I've got blue, maroon, red, white, brown, pink, and black (though only the black is the mil-spec 550, the colors only come in 450).
Making some school color bracelets for my kids and wife, and probably mom and sister; some school color for my place of employment keychains and lanyards; going to make my dog a collar with the black and red; and who knows what else

ahh, never looked there, read alot about it, but found the colors I needed at Barre's Army-Navy store, but didn't pay attention til I ordered that it was 450, I just got in a hurry.

Overall, Barre's is a little cheaper, but SC has 550 in colors....however, as bracelets/lanyards/ and such, I don't think it'll be that big a deal. Other, more heavy-duty purposes, definitely a difference

 

Well certainly something to consider. I don't have much need for any of that stuff, but I am sure I would enjoy making them.

Darn COMCAST!!! Cable just went out in the middle of a 9/11 conspiracy show. It was pretty interesting. I am not saying I believe all that crap, but it is something to consider.

Rough day for me. Had dental work done for a crown. Novocaine or whatever equivalent they use now days wore off before the work was done. That after running full speed all morning to get my daughter her dance class and the wife to the chiropractor. Now, I'm sitting back with a couple cheeseburgers and a YETI Imperial Stout (100 on ratebeer.com).

Well it is the yearly listen to wife yell at THE Ohio State games and complain for 10 minutes every time Miami of Ohio is called Miami of Ohio. Yeah.. we know.. Miami of Ohio was a university before Florida was a state.. yes... we have heard all this many many times..
