Purebreds come with so many potential issues- from being plain stupid to having bizarre physical issues (epilepsy, rage problems, bowel problems, etc...)- that getting one seems like a huge risk. My family took in multiple mutts when I was growing up, and the only problem dog we had was the *one* purebred shelty we had when I was born. Dog hated me. Seriously.

Lovely news for the day. Driving into work today the rear speakers popped and then cut out altogether. :angry019 It's probably a ground or short somewhere but auto wiring and electronics is so damn confusing I don't dare go in there or I'll muck it up even worse.

What really steams me is this is an aftermarket job that was initially done by a couple bozo kids at Circuit City. I was never that thrilled with their work but at least it functioned. Of course at this point Circuit City is out of business, and I'm living in a different state anyway. This will set me back a few hundred I don't have at the moment. Like I said...lovely.

 

Shep, look around where you live for a "low-rider" club. Every town has one. A bunch of kids who are into the loud bass, flashy trucks or cars, and usually baggy pants. They might be hoodlums, but they are usually VERY good with the stereo stuff. Trust me, they will fix it right, and CHEAP. Especially if they know you are a cop, and think you will cut them a break one day if you pull them over!

cat-hate is pretty common in my experience. it might be me, but it seems like cats don't truly like anyone but themselves. although they will tolerate occasional petting. and a comfy lap. and tasty snacks.

as for dogs- just give it meat and it'll be your best friend for life.

 

Maybe it just had a hankering for rabbit.
