I had my last cigarette 11 months ago today.

Feeling so good about it, I decided to treat myself to something special next month to celebrate a year of freedom.

I was looking through the Grab Bag thread which I never really paid much attention to. You guys have been doing a good job keeping that thing going...over a year now. Lots of nice stuff in it too it looks like. Good job.

Was also noticing some names from a year ago that I haven't seen around since my return. truckman, mrsblackwood, burningdarkness, lamontqsanford and so on have all moved on huh? And my man burnwood...YMMV. Hope they are well.

I'm not sure when, but for a while it seemed like it was just Micah, Jim, Micah, Justin, Micah and JoAnna. And me. Good to see more people in HYD.

Hey there ,fellas. Been a kick a** day for me. Went to a few secret antique dealers, and hit GOLD!!! Not literally, but darn close. I picked up another cased Double Ring, an uncased Diplomat, and an old Ka-Bar switchblade. The double ring is in fair condition. It has a good bit of plating loss on the head, and the case is rough. But, it is over 100 years old!!

SO, what the hay is going on 'round here?

 

Well... actually it was decided that Micah, Mike, and Jim were all the same people. So really, it was a lot sadder than that.

But yeah... there has been a lot of losses.

Then there are some of us that fade out for a few weeks and then pop back in. Ray, Dom, Jen, and sometimes I tend to do that. Others are gone probably for good...

 

I'm not liking California right now. Got a letter at my SIL's house where we stayed for a couple months when first moving to Colorado. Says I owe taxes for a year when I neither lived or worked in CA. I called and apparently they decided that since I'm a registered Proffessional Engineer in CA and filed the year before I must owe for that year. Thankfully, all I have to do is send in a copy of my CO tax forms for that year, but what a pain :angry019
