Ah... I hope being a landlord works well for you.

It is typically a very sweet bread. The "friendship" part is you get a starter container from a friend. You then add ingredients to the container (often a big zip-lock type bag). Then after a while (yeast get to do their thing) you separate off a set amount to make new starters and use the rest to make your bread. You then keep a starter for yourself and share the joy by giving a starter to a friend.

I'm tired today, too. I just haven't been getting rest like I need. Had a pretty good weekend,though. A friend gave us a bunch of free dead animal and we've been eating like kings at the heartless pervert household. Had the fattest juciest pork chops ever on Thursday, fall-apart-on-the-fork roast and potatoes w/baby carrots on Friday (having leftover for lunch, today!) then had T-bones on Saturday, and chicken-fried steak yesterday... still got a steak and a couple of chicken fried steaks left. I've gotta say, having never cooked a chicken fried steak, I'm pretty impressed with my improvising:

Salt, pepper and flour in a bowl--cover the steak, drop in skillet, pour on a little cream of mushroom soup, and brown. Gooooood eating!


Today, on the other hand is feeling supermondayish. Already fighting the forces of computer evil and it's draining me. Of course it doesn't help that last night I had a dream involving a couple of [slash]idiots[/slash]coworkers, and that totally put me in a mood predisposed against them. I'm praying they won't need my help on anything today, because they annoyed me so badly in my dream, that I'm afraid the sentiment will carry over into real life.

 

Sigh...

 

Is that Katy or Zooey? I get them mixed up, they look so much alike...

I've seen this reference before, and until this past weekend had no idea who this Katy person was, and oh how I long for that sweet feeling of ignorance once again.
No, she holds not a candle to Zooey....nah, not even thinks of a candle close to Zooey...nay, Katie's candle exists not even in the world where Zooey exists!

Seriously, the only thing I can think of that people would say they look alike is that they both have (very) female body shapes, but even then you may as well compare her to any other female.

To my eyes at least....YMMV and all

Finally catching up at work. Not ahead on anything, just not behind on everything. I'm sure another project will be approved any day and I'll instantly be behind again. At least I should be able to get off a little early today so I can watch Randy Moss back in Purple!!!
