Finally got rid of Comcast today. They upped the bill to nearly $70 a month, so we switched DirecTV. More channels, better quality, half the cost. Why the heck have we been paying Comcast all these years!?!?!

 

What? Shaving isn't religious? I mean, it is heavenly, or at least very enjoyable.

I'll admit I was irked by CARM with the, "Catholics who accept the official RCC teachings aren't Christian" statement on the site. But then, this is a shaving blog and you were just posting a favorite link.

Still here... we haven't blown away yet. Tho Jim's Toe-naders have certainly tried. I really hope these winds let up some before we try to do our howl-o-ween camping trip.

Okay, here is an update. I am now a huge fan of the inverted Aeropress method. It allows that espresso grind to really shine. About twenty seconds of stir time followed by a one minute steep. Nice thing about it is that with the inverted method the filter does not get clogged by the fine grind before you have a chance to press it.

One awful night.... OK, I guess I felt weirder than normal yesterday afternoon and I knew that lunch didn't set well. However, when I went to sleep things felt OK. However, there is nothing like waking up at 2 AM with acid reflux so strong it is dripping out your nose. Burn baby Burn... Um... yeah, so that is how I started my day. At least this is a scheduled day off.
