teaching easily frustrated and indecisive daughter to play Magic. Yeah... I think I am looking forward to the 4 hours of round trip driving today.

Yeah, there are still people who play. She found our old binder of cards and has been bugging us for weeks to teach her.

Back home.... Well, wife had wanted to do Medieval times for years (since we moved to the Chicago area). We finally went today, and overall, it was quite enjoyable. My only complaint would be the concept of having to be there at 3:00 for a 4:30 show. Oh well, traffic was light, it was easy to get to, and everyone had a mostly good time.

Medieval times is fun. Went to the one in Toronto during the SARS scare. It was so empty it was wonderful. Have gone since, but wasn't ever as good.

I'm waiting on some personally big news that I'll announce in this thread as soon as it's official. It appears things are turning around for me. I hope all of you are seeing the same positive turn.

You found a secret stash of double rings and new improved bostonians that you are going to sell to us at their original price? Excellent! Woo Hoo!

Seriously though, I am excited to hear that you may have some excellent news coming up. My fingers are crossed for you. Best of luck!

Ahhh... sleeping in to 6:30, lounging in sweats while reading books on the kindle, getting around to making breakfast and coffee at 8 when the noise of the grinder won't wake anyone, drinking fresh ground aeropress coffee while eating cereal and listening to the Animaniacs Soundtrack...

Either I am slightly mad, or it is the start of Spring Break. Or both....

    :D

Now that sounds like a nice way to start the day.

Nothing like some exciting SQL and .dbf files to start the morning.

well, I guess that's fine and all for y'all, but I read a greeting card many years ago with this list on it, and for some reason the spatula part was so random that it's stuck with me ever since.
That and Smeep. Smeep. Smeep. :D
(man....how bad off are you mentally when the "spatula" part of this list is the one that stands out the most?)

Mayo, ketchup, and a Teflon coated plate that extends and retracts with a noisy motor?
