Just received a contingency job offer.:happy108:happy023 It's been a long time coming and I was beginning to get a complex, wondering if I ever was going to get a chance to see light at the end of the tunnel. Now just have to go through the customary background checks and physical. Hope to be starting by the 16th.

Leela is still one of my favorites. Just finished re-watching the Tom Baker era of Doctor Who.

    Nice! :happy096

If you have Netflix, there are some available watch instantly.

The current Doctor episodes are all awesome in my book, and my favorite of the original series is the Tom Baker stuff.

Now that I'm older and know who Douglas Adams is, it was kinda neat watching the episodes he wrote.

But that is awesome now and days, cause you can just watch it straight through, with no commercials or fund drives (good ole PBS).

I actually like watching shows once they are done. No patience required, or overly done "suspense".

The old Doctor Who was 30 minute shows, once a week. 4-6 episodes to finish a story. Could you imagine? 6 weeks to wrap up a storyline?

New Doctor Who episodes are generally one or two parters, with a season long backstory.

I was lucky back then, the 80's, my local PBS station would play 2+ hour marathons every Saturday night!

Don't have the speed for Netflix, but maybe Hooloo or however it's spelled has some episodes.

My Dad videotaped them all, but I think our PBS did the same as yours. Don't remember exactly, though.

Well... in my opinion they ruined a good cup of coffee with that creamer. It was still interesting... but wasteful.

You can't have a good cup of coffee without the cream and sugar.
