Pretty good. There is something about the color one that I don't know about. Can't put my finger on it. However, don't fret about that, I always feel this way about colorized photos. All in all, it is still pretty well done.

I usually feel the same way about colorized pictures, be it still pictures or moving pictures. It's certainly interesting, and very cool that it's possible, but it just adds an unnatural feeling to it (colorizing in general, not Micah's work). Then again, it's not like you're going to get HD quality from an old photo, scanned and digitized anyway.

But, I must confess, Micah - I'm quite surprised there's not a blue-and-amber movie version, a glorious psuedo-3D version, and magic-eye version, ......:happy102

Ok, I have a neato bit of news to share with you all. As part of my research, I joined a forum called skyscrapercity. Now, I think the forum is dedicated to city architecture... not really sure but they have a forum category about Morocco - hence the research. Anyway, in the Moroccan forum, they have an equivalent of a "How's Your Day Thread"!!! :happy096

Sadly, I have not the slightest what half of the stuff posted there is about since many of the posts (and sometimes pages after pages) are in French :think002 (and running everything through Google translator gets old after a while) but its still cool to think that in a Muslim country in Northern Africa, there are a bunch of crazies like us who post senseless drivel about whatever and laughing about it and such. Not that we do that here

Anyway, just thought I'd share. It's kinda cool.

Oh.. .on the home (head shave) front... wife came in last night and declared she would not be going out in public with me again. But other than that she hadn't sad anything. OK, she said she wasn't surprised that I had done it and that she was surprised that it wasn't shorter.. eh?. She actually expected me to do it sooner. She isn't pleased, but she isn't acting upset. So hmmmm....

Sorry Micah... despite your wise advice, I shaved it again. I just can't stand that sandpaper stage of super short hair that catches on clothing, etc...

Try this, scalp yourself, you know Indian style, like your older brother did to you back when you were kids playing cowboys and indians, then say, "hey, is this short enough for ya! Huh?"

You know me far too well.

Yeah, I'm not really happy with the color one, either. It's reeeeaaally hard to make colour look natural. The little girl's hair and the big boys shirt just look totally off. I was, however really pleased with how the picture cleaned up, though.

Got a roku for father's day and have been watching Red Dwarf as well as having watched They Live. Yup.. They Live is still an accurate social commentary.
