Sorry... only game system that I have owned since the Sega is a Wii. Wii is worthless for anything like this. For somereason the action games want you to swing jump, etc.. all just to aim your weapon. I don't need to coordinate two different arms' motions, while kicking, and twisting, etc.. just to select which door to open. Just isn't worth it to me. Daughter likes it, but I don't.

 

+1000 on HL2. My favorite game. I play it once every year or so. Just great.

 

Depending on the game you can turn that off, goldeneye I know you can.

 

Well, we made a run to town last night to celebrate our anniversary, and I picked up a few games. I ended up buying Timesplitters 2 and 3, and Medal of Honor: Frontline.

MOH was only 3 bucks and the other two added up to less than $20, so it wasn't a bad deal. All the games are excellent, and I think they'll fill the bill nicely.

Timesplitters has exactly the kind of dark humor I enjoy, and MOH is maybe a little too real in it's setting. The whole time I was storming the beach at Normandy, I couldn't help but think about the men who really went through it.

In other news, Netflix has announced a pricing and plan change. 1 DVD at a time and Unlimited streaming is going to nearly double in price. I'd drop the DVD plan altogether (and drop my bill $3) if they'd improve their streaming selection. The crappy part is, even with the price hike, it's still a good value, but they aren't being completely honest about the price hike. http://blog.netflix.com/

Well.. just put Linux Mint 11 on here. I have been playing with Katya; however, honestly... I almost think XP was running better.

Linux Mint 9 was so much fast than this. And I am on a much faster build computer. So what is the deal?

I like short shorts... not on me, of course, but that was the most fun I'd ever had watching someone fuel their car

 

So far today has been good... a little sun burnt. But started my day off with using my Gillette New Type long OC razor. The shave was great.

I still have yet to see that movie. I want to watch a movie based on the Steven King story about the gas station with the cars that can think... Would be a good movie but somewhat short i think.

 

I thought that they did make a movie about that. It had Estevez in it..... Or was it Sheen...

I don't recall being that impressed. However, I saw the movie before I read the short story. However, I don't think that would have mattered much. But I was in junior high at the time so... who knows.
