    There's a day for [slash]me?[/slash] that?

(of course, now with a swimming pool in the back yard, pretty much secluded.....)

last night was church night? that would explain the funny looks I got from fellow members at the store last night....
no, seriously, I somehow did not know it was Wednesday, got home late from work and wife and kids were already gone to church, I figured they'd gone to Texarkana to see her dad or something.
Wowza, I love the laid back time during summer (even though it's extremely busy), but it sure throws my mental calendar in a whirl

I suppose that if we are going to the Galena, IL area where a lot of the movie was filmed and possible to the ball diamond, maybe I should have daughter watch the Field of Dreams

Yeah.... I don't think they are winning any popularity contests at the moment.

The problem with that is, that envelope is probably tied to your account somehow.

Truthfully, even with the ludicrous price increase, it's still a better deal than satellite. I just wish they'd get the rights to expand the streaming catalog to include everything that they offer on disc.

I think the red envelope is caught in the middle here, and the studios are trying to teach them a lesson, I just wish Netflix were more honest with their customers about what's really happening.

I only stream Netflix as I know I wouldn't keep up with DVD's enough to justify the cost compared to the half dozen times each year I get a movie on Vudu or rental spot (used to be Blockbuster but last time was Redbox). I must be the only person not at all offended or upset by the recent change. Really, it was coming and is still cheap even if you want both streaming and DVDs.

By blockbuster do you mean thepiratebay? haha. I saw a sign that said going out of business and moving to thepiratebay. Pretty funny. But it is also true. :(

We had netflix until my housemate moved out for the summer. Took his PS3 with him so no netflix until sept.

all valid and true points, which I do agree with.

Yes, I've figured ever since I started using it that prices would jump up soon, and now in under a year here we are

We also know they're moving to streaming only eventually. That's going to lose a bunch of customers who cannot stream, but not enough to hurt them in the long run.

And it does have the smart idea not to take money for shipping charges from folks who don't use it.

But for those that do both and are on a tight budget (me), despite it still being the best deal out there, by a long shot, it's still a $&#^ move.

My only hope is that it improves their streaming options. Too many shows I want to see are DVD only, and not available through Redbox.

Just another example of how a handful of greedy executives can ruin an excellent thing for consumers, and Netflix is stuck in the middle.

Now that my kids have found Phineas and Ferb on Netflix (RIP Netlix, long live Netflix), I can now say, with full confidence, that Micah does a spot-on Dr

    Did y'all miss me? :D

Ok, decided I would make an appearance in HYD for the first time in like two weeks. :o Been super busy. Mommy was visiting.

Also, got a question; laptop or tablet?
I think my laptop is about to hit the fan. :(
I don't need much other than reliable and inexpensive.
I have no need for the super duper can do it all computer.
I am blind, though. Size does matter. screen size that is. :D
I do have an android phone. Is a tablet just going to be like a bigger version?

arrrgggghhhhh......decisions. I know I'll have to make one eventually.

Jim, put your pants on.

Missed by many :D. But I personally would go for a laptop... But then again a tablet can work for you. I enjoy the idea of tablet but most tablets i have used... Havn't been for me.

    Welcome back!

Almost exactly my thoughts. Tablets are great, but they just feel awfully limited to me. For around the same money as a decent tablet, you can get a nice laptop. IMHO they just offer more bang for your buck.

You most certainly were missed, I was about to organize a search party....but not with my pants on :D

I'd have to say a laptop, tablets are much more for portability convenience.

Ya. I don't know too much about tablets. However I know laptops can do everything... Not 100% about what tablets can do. Not sure about limitations or anything. Haha.
