Turns out accounting made a blunder.

well, Micah had his temporary kink in his weekend plans, which was fortunately resolved...


unfortunately, the kinks in our weekend plans are unresolvable. I've never known a doctor or pharmacy to refund money for services or goods rendered

 

Ugh... Jim that completely tanks!

 

Six weeks in the gym and I can now do 40 chin ups. No not all at once, but 4 sets of 10 (2 sets of underhand and 2 sets of overhand). When I started I could do 2 total. I am also down 12 lbs. I made sure to check for 3 days in a row, but this is the first time since I quit smoking almost 2 years ago that I am under 250 lbs. Only 40 more pounds to go...

 

Congrats. Keep on working to get down to 210. That is what I want to get to... But i only have half as much as you to loose. It is tough... but worth it in the long run .

It also gets harder to shed those unwanted pounds the older you get...

 

I know that is why I am trying to get it done as early as possible. I am also just a large guy. I have a big chest without much fat on my chest... So im not... really that fat but I more want to loose some weight and gain some muscle.

I think being 6'3 and 210 is a good weight. I also don't want to be a bean pole or I will freeze

definitely been a scorcher lately... I think the AC is going to go on strike if it doesn't cool off soon. Its been working around the clock for over a week. I don't know how we survived without AC as kids. But for that manner, I don't know how we are going to survive without AC for the camping trip.

 

I know. I visited my friends house a couple days ago. They didn't have AC and the first thing that was discussed what how we are now going to hang out at my house with AC.

AC is nice. I love being able to fall asleep with some type of blanket on. One of my housemates is working nights so we cannot turn off the AC at night either as it will get hot for him. So have to keep it on nearly 24/7. Tommorow it might be 38+degrees Celsius which is a record breaker since 1946 i believe.

I just checked the forcast for where we are going to be camping. Gee, it only feels like 107F there now (42C),, I guess after the feels like 117 F (47C) we have now, that may not be so bad. Our actual temp at the moment is 104 (40C). I know we get hot and humid here in the midwest, but every year it astounds me at how hot and humid it can get.

We've made it to Mission. Saw the new house. Our stuff gets here tomorrow. Everything seems to be working out. And speaking of hot- I think I'm the farthest South of all of you. It's durn hot down here.

The upside is that y'all are all Yankees now. To me, anyway.
