Morning everyone! Well, it is the weekend. And back to the fair we go.... (I can't wait for it to be over). Daughter has to work the 4H concession booth this morning and so far my phone isn't talking to the new site. hmmmm....

Looking forward to a Chiro visit this morning. Slept on my neck weird early in the week and it just never fixed itself. I'm lucky, 2-3 visits per year keeps me going strong. The wife at times goes in weekly and the daughter 1-2 times a month for ballet related stuff.

 

Today is 22 months since I have had a cigarette. Woohoo.

Also spent about an hour in the gym this morning. I am down 15 pounds since June 14th.

Only 45 more to go.

 

Happy Saturday! Diggin the new look. Good work to those involved. I'll have to do some playing around when I have more time.

I've been in the gym for the past month too and am down 6 lbs. Feelin better, but a long ways to go.

Think I'll take the wife to see Cowboys & Aliens on days off this week. Looks fun.

Left for a Chiropractor appointment yesterday morning with plans to pick up my daughter and come home for lunch afterwards. Stuff kept coming up all day and didn't get home until 11:00 pm. At least we had a fun day , a good part of it was just me and my wife on an impromptu date. BTW, for those in or visiting the Denver area (or Houston according to the website), Gelazzi is wonderful.

 

I am really digging the new look.

WOW! First time on since Sparky's work came to fruitation. Very, very very nice. Did I say Very nice?

Ok, so I have a story to share. My son and I went out to our little pool about an hour ago. I noticed it was a little darker than usual at this time and looked up to see a dark cloud in the distance. I mentioned something about it, and then Aidan, who is 6, said,"maybe I should pray for rain. God, thank you for the rain. And please let it rain some more. The grass and trees are thirsty. Amen." CLAP!!! Thunder, yep, just like that the sky grew darker and the winds picked up and the clouds came a' rolling. After I got over the initial shock, we got out of pool and headed back inside. Only a few minutes later, we got some of the first drops of rain we've seen in weeks.

yep. figured out the multi-quote. This area was actually happy about Don. We need the rain so bad, and it was only a tropical storm. It broke up when it hit land. We got maybe 15 minutes of light rain.

 

Unfortunately, the rain was short lived. We would have liked an all nighter, but I suppose God gave us just a little dab as so we wouldn't get too greedy...
