Good luck on the exam. I am going to school for that right now. Not sure if any difference from the provinces. What designation are you working for? :). I am not looking forward to a multiple day exam...

It's the prep program for the CMA designation. I tried the exam a year ago but missed the pass mark by 5%. I'm hoping to get it this time! You'd thik it would be easy as it's all multiple choice...but it is brutal! 4 hours of pain pretty much sums it up. Are you going for a designation in the future?

Ah I wish mine was multiple choice. I am going for CA :). It is two days of 4 or 5 hours of testing. I don't think mine is multiple choice as it is supposed to be case based. I just hope I pass it and don't have to retake it. However with me I will probably fail 2 times.

The CMA used to be 2 days, first day MC and second day a business case. But they split it up and moved the business case to half way throught the program. The good thing with the multiple choice is that you have the 20% chance of getting right (if you have to guess) but it's bad because 3 of the 5 choices are right depending on how you read the question...so if you read it wrong, you'll get a right answer...but not the right answer:eek:. I would rather it just be abusiness case...there's always marks you can get for those, and there is no right answer, you just have to prove your point. Anyway, good luck with your studies!

Ah that is pretty interesting. I do enjoy me some MC I always seem to do well and the answers just pop into my mind. I have yet to get less than 80% on a MC exam/midterm.

Well there is sort of a right answer. But just have to back up your point. Then of course the whole change of accounting standards this year. Just more stuff to wrap your mind around.

Thanks, I hope I don't need luck but hey, it cant hurt :)

12 hours ago, it was raining. Now it disappeared. It simply evaporated leaving a high temperature today of 85 degrees F. 20 to 25 degrees cooler than the past several weeks. I enjoyed it while it was here.

The comments are what really make this "news" item.

The article does make an excellent point, though. Here's to you, Reginald Spears, wherever you are.

Hah. Well I missed it. I guess I was wanting it to be true...

At least I feel better that no one isn't this stoopid, at least not that I have heard as of yet.
