Had the privlege to adjust a 11 yr old boy with cerebal palsy tonight. I'm really praying that it helps both him & his parents. Really makes me appreciate my healthy 23-month old son even more.

You should have given the parents free adjustments. Take it from a mom of a 7 yr old with CP. Of course my daughter can't walk. I've known other children with CP who could walk.

Gosh I need to see a chiropractor soon. :angry017:

Both of their boys have CP & both are in wheelchairs. I did adjust the dad & they will most likely be starting on my family membership which will get them MANY free adjustments. My heart & prayers go out to y'all as well Queen. I'm sure your daughter is lucky to have you for her mom!

If I had any hair, I wouldn't have any hair, because I would have pulled it all out of there.

The routing for Master Card processing went south between the data center and the mother ship. It was a problem for Point of Sale and direct Swipe customers in at least 5 states. A 2 hour phone call with "We know there is a problem and will hopefully have it fixed soon, but cannot say for sure." as the outcome turned a normally busy day into a really fun one with a good portion of my customer base telling me how bad my software is and how I should compensate them....

    Make that 2, please.

Also, if you're looking for something good to watch on Netflix streaming, check out the documentary "Helvetica" Who knew a documentary about one of the most visually boring typefaces could be so fascinating?

way to go dale. :). I hate when things go wrong that are out of your control and you cannot fix. It of course ends up being your fault and your the bad guy.

    O well.

We went to another Railcats game last night. For a team in first place in their division (albeit a very independent division) the place was mostly empty. Then this kid goes out to throw the opening pitch. The crowd went wild. Then the kid ran off the field up to a table someplace to sign autographs. Later after the 7th inning, he came out and challenged four of the railcat interns to a hamburger eating contest. Seriously, what is up with that? And the fact that he put away more hamburgers than the 4 of them combined? Huh... And then when that was done, the place emptied. We probably should have left then as well. The last two innings went on for another 1.5 hours and we lost in the end.

Sorry Micah, I wasn't able to get better pictures. The lighting wasn't good for my little point and shoot and there was way too much motion while trying to dodge other people and all. But he threw one of the better opening pitches we have seen this season. kobiyashi pitch.JPG kobiyashi motion blur smaller.JPG

I was feeling alright when I woke up, but now I just feel awful...if it doesn't get better I may be heading home early. My lack of asleep isn't helping this situation either.

I'm pretty sure that sign behind his head is saying "GO FURTHER", but if you look at it right, you could almost read it as something, ummm, German...

Browsing through the Netflix selections last night, found one that looked interesting....The Reef*. Of course, it caught my attention, being as there was a shark fin in the picture, a quick look at the description, and quickly hit play.
Says it's based on true events. Similar in plot and style as Open Water, but much, much, much better. Very well done, I thought. No CG or special effects, as far as the shark goes, actual live footage. Naturally, any part where the shark is close to the people is edited, of course.

*when doing some investigation, apparently there's an animated movie titled "The Reef"...this was not that one :p

Well now that you mention it, it is almost impossible not to see it.

    That's cool.

On a related note, I've always enjoyed minor league baseball. We used to have a minor league team near here--The Shreveport Captains. Every time I pick up a baseball bat, my inner announcer booms out, "Now stepping up to bat for the Captains, DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIXXXXXXXX--OOOOOOOOOOOOON!"

Now that is funny! We were playing a 6 game series (which I think we split even) with the Shreveport Captains!
