4 days late with Slanty, my new cream and my new Omega brush. Our orderly room upstairs is sorely full of lazy sods....I just wanted it for the bloody weekend!!!!!!

So, I had a couple of hours to kill and the Gimp was calling to me. In a rare fit of inspiration, I painted a picture:

nice work, Micah...too bad it isn't real snow around here that you drew inspiration from :)

today on CreateTV - all lobster cooking, all day. What's so significant about today to make an all-day lobster special. Pepin is cooking lobster, Lidia is cooking lobster, Ming is cooking lobster, Raichlen is cooking lobster, Bayless is cooking lobster, etc etc....

what a busy week. But in all honesty, it's been a change of pace and environment I've kinda needed to get out of a personal rut. So far, so good....

Word of the day: this word describes those jokes/attempts at jokes that have enough humor in them to elicit a chuckle, but is still kinda painful to laugh at: humoroid

It's what I get for being cheap and trying to get one for $20 lol. I may have to look at an Adjustable Slim instead, if I can find a '63 to match the year of my Flare Tip.

63 is my birth year and I have procured 2 of them and it was not easy especially the 4th qtr.

Ah so they have special meaning for you. I just like vintage Gillette's, they're so well made it's not even funny. I do really want to try an adjustable, so that's my final razor on my list right now (Gave away my DE87 this evening to my roomate here on base who has recently become infatuated with my wet shaving LOL. He loves it now)

Well, I happened to luck out that my favorite razor was made in my birth year. It would still be my favorite regardless of the production time.
The greatest number that I see out there is 1966 razors. In fact that is my second razor and the one I used when doing the DE blade challenge and the one I am using for testing now.

I am so sore. Spent yesterday breaking up a tile floor. Today the backer board needs to come up, thankfully much less work. Eventually, it will be hardwood.

I've been looking at plywood plank flooring lately. It can be beautiful and inexpensive.

I found some prefinished solid hickory on clearance for $2.79/Sqr. Ft. It's acclimating right now and will be laid down one of the next two weekends. The previous owner put down outdoor pavers. We're tired of hurting our feet on them and this will give my daughter a good place to practice her ballet.

Not that I have anything against plank flooring, it just wasn't right for my situation. At least with the sale price I got on my flooring. Now, back to cleaning up so I can take up the backer board.

I used to have a dog that I named Crazy
Every time the dog got out of the yard I would chase the dog down the road yelling Crazy! Crazy! Crazy!

Well that something, the local radio station could have a least played this song so you wouldn't have to yell! Just roll down the windows and drive!
