FRIDAY....YEAH! Have beer & Modern Warfare 3. Need nothing else this weekend.

 

no, no, he's painting on the netbook with the RAM...

 

it pays to keep all your files organized from the start......after a day of sorting, organizing, deleting, etc, everything is finally where it's supposed to be. There's still more cleanup to do, but at least all music is in a music folder, documents in a documents folder, etc.
Perhaps "a day of sorting" is a bit misleading....it was off and on at the computer - mostly on, but not all day. Of course, this after moving all files from the various external hard drives I've done miscellaneous backups to...3 in all. But, part of the problem was, I'd backup one hard drive onto another, and thus basically 5 total "hard drive backups" in all. Wouldn't be too bad if there weren't some files different now....
Oh well. It's mostly done now, and I'll be sticking to just the one hard drive going forth. Fortunately the one I'm using is the one I did start being organized with, just had to sort all the other stuff.
Now, to slumber (hopefully)

Hows my day? hmm. Well, we are doing our daughters 1st birthday party today, so that should make my day great. Oh and I finally got comcast back today, so that makes a better day. And I won a RazoBrite and random brush on Ebay for $6.83, so that makes a even better day. Oh and I found $100 in my coat pocket, that makes a wonderful day.

Daughters birthday was last Sunday, but being under over 2 feet of snow, then a major ice storm prevent us from having it. So it's today.

Comcast has been down 1 1/2 weeks do to snow and ice storms.

Got my tax return today, paid off a few looming bills and planning on spending some on some house repairs (mostly repainting inside and out) and then should still have some cushion left to put in savings. Things are looking better.

 

Oh I wish my T4 would arrive, I could so use my large tax return right about now....

 

dang, I just hope we don't owe again like last year - first time ever to have to owe, didn't change a thing on our financials, maybe this year they'll find errors in last year's stuff and we'll get that back....the the past year went, and things staying pretty much the same since, I seriously doubt it

 

Weird mood today. Annoyed... borderline pissed off even... but don't know what at. Hrmm....

Aunt called earlier today about a stray kitten. One guilt trip later and I'm trying to integrate a second all black cat named "Pumpernickel" or "Pumpkin" into the household.

 

Bad mood today. Lots of frustrating problems I can't fix.

Kind of stressed out of my mind right now! It's sad when work is the most restful part of your day (except for sleep). My wife is making the jewelry for her best friends wedding...she flys to Ontario in 2 weeks for it...and the order of supplies came yesterday and is complete crap so she needs to go out and find replacement stuff today. Her dad is MIA. Our 3 year old has hit the stage where it is cool to beat up and hurt her sister. I don't see my wife and kids because of my CMA program. We move at the end of the month, while going down to Calgary for a wedding reception.

Thats just a few things. At least KoA comes out in 5 days; I can have Saturday to spend with the family; we aren't completely broke like we usually are; I have a TSD order on the way; I may get an EverReady Streamline. Things are looking up,,,just slowly.
