Don't know who captain hammer is, but I like the outcome :) (although I don't think Mal would've waited that long :))

Captain Hammer is from Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog. It was a small web feature put out by Joss Whedon (Firefly, buffy, etc... ) to show the mass market the power of internet production. (sort of)

The girl is played by Felicia Day, Dr. Horrible is Neil Patrick Harris, and Captain Hammer is played by Mal... er I mean Nathan Fillion.

Had to buy the purple Peeps bunnies at Wal-Mart today. Had to.

We are having Shrek The Musical at work for three shows this week. I snapped a cell phone pic of the wing space with some of the props and costuming. I just thought it was sort of an interesting shot.

The hardest time I have had was when Spamalot was at work. I so wanted to try on the helmet with the antlers, but I knew it would not lead to anything ni.

I recall you mentioning that. I was sitting watching Spamalot last fall and I was thinking about you saying that. Alas, the helmet wasn't left out anywhere where I could find it.

ahhh...dunno who Felicia Day is (Google is about to do the walking), but that sounds pretty cool, may have to check it out.

Meanwhile, slightly off-topic, but slightly 0n-topic...Monday night is Castle night here. My wife first started watching the show, and I started watching it with her occasionally. Then I found out who the fellow playing Rick Castle is, and started watching it out of interest for the show, and not just for time with the wife. (Guess it doesn't hurt that Det. Beckett is easy on the eyes, too)

There are several excellent Firefly references throughout the show, and I always get a good laugh out of them. There's also a lot of other references that occur from time to time (Jaws, Ghostbusters, etc).

You know, you can actually buy one of Castle's books. I've seen it for sale at Books A Jillion.

I just found out my dad has my grandfathers razor and is mailing it to me, pronto! All I know is it's a Gillette made in England and its really dirty as it's been in a box since he died in 1980. Sounds like it has the last blade he used in it, and probably some of his skin and beard LOL. Hopefully I can clean it up nice .. woohoo I'm excited :happy108:

Thanks! it totally made my day when he called me. I had to give him crap though as I remember my dad using a safety razor when I was really young, but he doesn't remember at all. I told him that I distinctly remember playing with a twisy black handled one-piece razor when I was really young; the things that amuse children eh - open close, open close, open close. I think I'll just have to hunt for it next time I visit.

First time ever that I didn't get my work done this month. Oh well! There were just so many issues with something HR was requesting and it took a fair chunk of the month to get it solved.

I'm heading out of town tomorrow with my wife; the girls are at home with my father-in-law, so that will be nice. May head to the mountains for a bit tomorrow too.

I just want the work day to be over!

This is one of the longest Fridays on record. I think someone has been soaking the clocks in treacle.
