That was many, many years ago.

 

I'm so confused. I'm a hardcore Mac user for the longest time, so I'm having a hard time deciding which Mac Mini I should be buying to set up my new media center that will stream to the house through iTunes. I COULD set up a server with 1.5TB of space, or go with the non server version and just add an external drive to it through the firewire port I suppose....but ARGH. So many options here it's giving me a headache. I really hate being a computer nerd sometimes.

Not using Windows or Linux, I use that enough at work

 

Today I start training my replacement at work. I am moving on to bigger and better things. I honestly feel bad for her. I don't know if she will be able to do it, just because she will have so much on her plate. My job is a gongshow, to put it mildly, even after I streamlined all the responsibilities and got them down to a level where you only want to pull your hair out...and not throw your computer at the first person you see.

She will be an HR/Finance employee...pretty much 2 full-time jobs in one. It gets pretty stressful!

 

I did **not** want to get out of bed this morning.

I just want to go home and crash.

Tired, headache, etc....

 

My wife and I enjoyed a walk along the Arkansas river this afternoon. The temps were in the mid 80's., a very beautiful day. We saw this butterfly enjoying the flower nectar. Turkey Vultures, were high in the sky riding the warm thermals.

Still reading the last book. I was enjoying it and then I got busy with this online circuits class...

 

I trained all day yesterday, and will continue to do so until I start my new Job. I find out the details of my new job this morning.

If I have one more weird, undiagnosable problem pop up, I'm going to go postal.

 

Did a lot of inventory so I'm tired as hell, gearing up for another month at least in the field in Wainwright in April. Found out I'll be getting promoted in December which isn't too shabby at least.

Wainwright eh, now that place brings back faint foggy memories ... I had a friend in Calgary I went to college with who's dad was a pretty high ranking officer on the base and we used to go up there to party ... I remember some of it man that was a looooong time ago.

 

Had to have my cat put down and then bury him this evening.
