Wen jogging this morning. The weather finally permitted it...and so did my motivation. It is a nice cool morning and ran around this block where I take my girls walking. I thought it would be a few Kms but as it turns out it is 10m shy of 1 km.

I was able to jog most of it so it was a big success in my books!

 

A little follow up on my cover situation. It's really looking like I've got the cover! When I can share more details, I will.

So I took over a cage full of stores for our networking gear from someone who's left the military. He's lucky he's gone because I'd punch him in the face. The place is a complete shambles organization wise. Paperwork missing or just plain done wrong, documents unsecured and all over the place, missing tools, routers, switches, printers....argh. It'll take me a few months worth of organizing to get everything up to my standard (Which is slightly higher than others due to my OCD). At least I've been given the green light by my Squadron OC to do what needs to be done to get it up and running far better than it is now. Hopefully I can find the thousands of dollars worth of Cisco gear that seems to have either been shoved in the back somewhere, or may just have taken a walk.

 

Arrrgh! Now I recall why I decided I didn't like engineering courses. Nothing like 5 pages of math to do 1 practice problem.. Anyone want to go play in the EECS playground with their lumped matter discipline????

 

It looks to be 99.9% confirmed that I got the cover!

 

I had a big salad and enjoyed the record high Chicago heat wave. And BONUS...took a nap!

 

been playing with Windows 8 a couple hours tonight...can't say I'm a big fan of Metro, but I could get used to it I reckon...otherwise, fairly similar to 7

 

Just saw some pics of a weber that some guy blackened. Wow, that thing looks awesome. It reminded me of how badly I want to powdercoat a razor all white.
