I hadn't heard of it before....probably because I wouldn't be able to watch it if I wanted, I'll be it's on cable or satellite

Next week is my Spring Break. Not sure if I'm happy about getting off work for a week or dreading the work I've got planned for the week. We're going to start repainting the house. Ugh, it's going to be a metric butt-ton of work. We have 28 exterior windows with 3 panes each in the top sash. Not to mention all the bushes that have grown up around the house over the mild winter.

I would lend a hand, but I've got a lot of yard work to do, along with figuring out some way to move the pool, level and pack the ground underneath, and move it back, along with cleaning the inside (that part shouldn't be too bad), and taking the kids fishing with my dad...along with anything else going on.
But, if you need anything, you know where I am

I just wanted to say thanks for the prayers last week. (from last weeks how is your day) I am sorry if I kinda went overboard on the information. I was having a tough time working through my uncles suicide and then my nephews situation on top of that just kinda pushed me over the edge. - Please remember our family as we work through this. My sister is really having a hard time over the loss of her son.

Whoops. Forgot I bought some of those back a few years. But I think those were the last comics books I bought- so 5 years instead of 10.

Anyway, I liked the comics but didn't like the t.v. series. I don't remember why I didn't like it.

Don't worry about venting. That is part of the healing process.
My prayers and thoughts go with you and your family.

Um... is that bigger of smaller than an imperial butt ton? You know, just so I have a point of reference.

This is actually that ever-elusive 1:1 ratio between empirical and metric weights and measures.*

*actually, 1 metric butt-ton = .9999999999999999998 empirical butt-tons, but when we're talking measurements of this scale, it's safe to round up unless you strictly need precise measurement.

I see. Well, I recently became aware that a metric a$$ load is approximately 50 kg. So spake the Limecat, so it must be true. :001_unsur:

I question those numbers--that's actually quite high. Jim and I did the math on this once and I think we determined that it's about 1.5 lbs. max. In volume you're looking at around .5 cubic feet on the small side, 1 cubic foot on the "OMG I'M NEVER EATING TACO BELL AGAIN!" end of the scale.
