Way too early to tell, yet.

miserable, so far...allergies started a few jabs yesterday afternoon, then launched full-scale assault in the evening...hardly slept a wink, went to work for about an hour til my boss told me to go home.
Finally can get some air through my nose, and move without my head splitting and neck aching.

Jim, you do realize like I do that there is a specific allergy season in Texas. It starts at 12:00:01 January 1 of each year and ends at 11:59:59 of December 31 of each year. We get a whole 2 seconds so make the best of them.

I hope you get to feeling better!

yeup, I do realize that, except...I'm over here in the Piney Woods, so my allotted time is actually less than half of what you get in the concrete jungle :)
I am starting to feel better, I think if my "neck-ache" will ever go away, it'll help the rest of me feel better.
It's funny, though, last week was Spring Break, I spent most of the week outside - mowing, digging holes, moving the pool, releveling the dirt, etc, and other things, and was fine all week. But Sunday kicked my boo-tay for some reason

Well today was a good day. I'm a divorced dad so I only see my children on the weekends. The last two nights I have had my six year old son for routine doctor visits. So today we went to a barber supply store to look for some new AS's and hair tonic for him since I'm bald by God's choice. A talc brush and some other shaving supplies. And for a moment I noticed he was more excited to be buying the shaving supplies then I was. So we returned home and got our den resupplied and ready for our evening shave tonight. It is days like this I am thankful for my shaving hobby to share with my little man who is easily excited as I am about shave gear and our shave den aka/ Dad's Barbershop to him.:happy093:

Ok, I don't post here ever but How Is My Day?

Wednesday can't come soon enough! I am tired of the hiccups, the puking, the knife in my back sensation, the I can't eat anything without having a reaction ....

I am so ready for this gall bladder to be removed.

Hopefully I survive and have a modified diet ... either way ... relief has got to come!

He lives a little bit too far north of the Mason-Dixon to be considered a Texan! More like CT.

You will do fine and for most there is an adjustment period. Ask your physician about a Bile sequestering drug for cholesterol called Welchol if you really have a lot of post-operative issues. It really helps after gall bladder removal. I know and live with and then without and now back with it thanks to my own research. My current doctor realized that I needed this for something other than cholesterol which is in the good range (unlike my prior physician who kept messing up and taking me off Welchol and being sick for 6 months was the last straw). Taking Calcium is also good for Bile sequestering. Keeps you from having upset stomach and other associated issues. Welchol is a prescription drug so you will need to discuss with your doctor including any other issues with this drug.

Keep this in your mental Rolodex in case you need to discuss this with your doctors.

    Good Fortune on your procedure.

I've known several people who've been through the procedure, and while there was some adjustment involved, the relief was immediate. Hang in there. It'll get better.

You will feel immeadiate relief from the surgery, other than being sore. Do what they tell you to do after you return home and DO NOT pick up anything heavier than a loaf of bread for at least a week.

Tell Jeff he will have to be Mr. Mom for at least two weeks. Even though you are having the nice micro surgery (back in the 80's they cut me open from front to back) it will take the spring out of your step.

God speed young lady. We will be praying for you and Jeff.
