TWGW is going to the post office today to mail off our final payment on a huge chunk of debt! Been paying in for 5 years; I am sooooo glad to have this behind us. :wave:arty:
I am tired! I was up all night and hardly slept a wink. The same with my wife I believe. Today will be "fun".
Well we tried to float a bond issue to get more classroom space and a new cafetorium for our students. It failed by 7 votes. But I'm going to try to remain positive... a vote that close means this is something many in the community are concerned about. I just hate it for the kids, they need new facilities.
I saw that yesterday... hate that for y'all. As much as I'm in favor of keeping taxes as low as possible, especially in the current economy, some things are needed.
My wife goes to court tomorrow to testify against her mom in her parents divorce... Can you say "HOLY STRESSED HOME, BATMAN", I am looking forward to the weekend already!

Thanks! As for FB - No there really isn't a reason to join. I joined to keep in contact with some buddies in different countries, but they don't want to keep in contact with me. Now I just use it to post dumb youtube videos.
I say no to Facebook. I've been avoiding it for years now and I seriously don't find it hard to do. It just seems like if you are signed up you are almost obligated to be on it because once you start and it gets it's tentacles wrapped around you there is no escape and it's just one more thing that keeps me from enjoying my family time or my me time. Again, I say no to Facebook.
No to facebook. Never had it; never will. Even if I had some legit reason for it, IMHO, too many privacy issues to be on top of.
You all sound like me. I've been avoiding it, but TWGW keeps tempting me with, "look at the special deal you're missing on noisetrade" etc. because I don't have a facebook account. Really, I've got the HYD thread and Reddit to fill my socializing needs, but I wondered if there was some hidden benefit I was missing.
Luke - praying for your family. I do have FB, but I hardly use it. It is the only way I hear from a portion of my family, so I don't plan to drop it. Still, if a certain couple people quit posting I'd drop my account - I check in maybe once a week as it is.
