I'll be lucky to take a lunch today. Just like every day.

 

I have yet to try that...I am going to, just not sure when

 

I'd give that a try. I use dunk chicken nuggets in milkshakes.. until I found out what a chicken nugget was.

 

Vanilla ice cream with olive oil and sea salt is really good.

 

Just remember, put the ice cream on the sandwich and fold it in half. That way you bite into the buttery/cheesey part first and your palate gets hit with the saltyness before being bombarded with the vanilla sweetnes. It is somewhere between an acute religious experience and a tantric induced orgasm!!

Same principal. Salty and sweet.

 

All of this talk about ice cream, olive oil, salt, chicken nuggets has subsided my hunger.

 

My comment wasn't pointed at you, Rolls, but just a general statement. I went over to see what you did and must admit that you gave me a good laugh.

You and your grilled cheese and ice cream. It does sound good, but it is too rich and decadent for my tastes. Perhaps I will try it someday, just to say that I did.

I need to get some good bacon from the grocery. I picked up some from Trader Joe's a few days ago (because I didn't have time to go to the real grocery and Trader Joe's is closer to my place and on the way to a number of other things) that wasn't real bacon. It was turkey bacon. Now I admit that I do like some turkey bacon. It cannot replace real bacon and is not meant as a substitute, but rather as something that I eat because I like the taste. The stuff I picked up at TJ's was vile. Lesson learned.

Hmm... know what else is good? A nice steamy Thai curry. There's a place nearby that does a good pineapple curry for really cheap. Mmmm.
