He has got the samples on his site now. I was thinking of ordering some more feathers, the exchange rate is pretty good (better than when I purchased them before)

Eagle....most outdoor plants should be dormant right now. Brown leaves are not a bad sign either. Unless it is an evergreen? Most shrubs are pretty resilient as well and will come back nice in the spring. Good luck with them though:)

Here is what I am struggling with with the samples. I can get 3 samples for $8 and some change. You get 3 15ml samples. Or I can just purchase a tub of it for $11 and some change and get 100ml. I guess for $3 difference I would rather order the full size tub and if I don't like it, fine.

Its surprising how much heat can build up under the plastic, especially if the sun is out. Add in reduced light under the plastic and plants start go into distress pretty quick. I always uncover as soon as its light out, then recover at dusk if needed. Seems to work when your dealing with subfreezing temps at night - most of the time anyway.

Out of curiosity....what would be the shipping for a tub from Connaught? I know the bubble mailers are cheap but I have been brutalized with some shipping charges from across the pond. Leon can get most of his products in the bubble mailers so it only $3 shipping which is phenomenal....especially from Portugal.

I am on SC restriction also.
Maybe if a couple other folks want to try them, you could just buy 2 or 3 tubs, and split them. 6 dollars for half a tub is better than 8 dollars for 45 mls of cream.

He shows an option for airmail small package and it would be about $5. I added it my cart so I assume it is valid.

I should add that this is with 200 feather blades as well. Dang 200 feathers with shipping comes out to $.31 a blade. That is cheap.

Yeah, they sure did go into distress quick. That's a good way of putting it. I just hope I didn't distress them to death! I'm thinking they'll be ok. It's really only the tree I'm worried about. Only the top leaves went brown on it, everything around it's mid section area is nice and green still.

Don't you love how Tracy justifies and talks himself into buying stuff? I never get tired of watching him in action. :D I bet your wife loves that little personality quirk huh Trace? :rofl

Shawn I hope the job hunt goes well. If you lived here I'd put you to work fixing up my kitchen and bathroom. You work for shaving goods right? I've got a full tub of Eton College! :D

I have no idea about anything related to keeping plants alive. Sorry.

Thanks Shep but my Eton College days are over after this tub:) Tracy....I would be happy to go in on some if you want....maybe Bong will join in. I can have half tubs or big samplers....Just no full size stuff. Might be cheaper on shipping also;) Grooming-health? charges $20 flat rate to ship regardless what it is.....bs but I did order quite a bit. but still was way overboard.

I'm hear when you need me, Shep.

I might get some of this cream. I am getting low on feathers (too many sampler packs sent out). I really can't pass up $.31 a blade prices of the best blades out there. I think I am going to pass on the cream, I already have some Tubula Rasa and some musgo to be using that are new.

I think I am going to hold off on the cream for now. Let me think on it, I might change my mind in 1 hour:D. What flavors does everyone like if I do decide to get the cream.

I'm always a sucker for flat fee shipping or "free shipping for orders of 75 dollars or more"
My poor feeble mind can't combat good retail strategy.

This is very true. It is suprisingly easy to stress a plant. Sudden changes in temperature can really piss them off, along with too much water, over-fertilization, being too close together, even sudden changes in lighting can cause a plant to give up the ghost. Hell, lighting in particular can do some neat things to a plant. You can use indoor lighting to make a plant go into the flowering stage temporarily by altering the light cycles to decrease the time the plant is getting light (this will allow you to see if the plant is a male or a female), and then make the same plant switch right back into the vegitative stage by increasing the time that the lights are on.

If you are into growing your own veggies and stuff, indoor growing is the way to go. You can even start plants indoor under various types of lights designed for growing (I like using GrowLux or VitaLight), sex them (to weed out the males), clone the females (they are the ones that produce the flowers), and transplant them to an outdoor location to finish. Or you can do the entire process indoors using Metal Halide lamps for the vegitave stages and High Pressure Sodium for the flowering stage. These different lights provide the optimun light spectrums for each stage. Just be sure you have enough lighting to provide all your plants with an adaquate amount of lumens that they need to photosynthesize, or they will be stunted and wispy.

That is Rolls' lesson of the day.....................:D

Whole tub of that stuff and never really got into the scent. Dont smell the irish spring scent most people do:( I prefer St.James personally. Guys...I will pass on the Connaught as well. It is only a little cheaper than T&H! The tub is only 100g and TOBS is the same price at 150g? So unless the stuff really rocks....I will sit on the back burner. I couldnt pick a single scent either. Maybe the sicilian lime or lavender...or the lemon might be good:) I will pass though:(
