Morning guys.. about to head back to the hospital to catch the morning visiting hours in the ICU.. doctors are talking open heart surgery for mom. Seems some time in the recent past there has been a heart attack.

thanks to all who asked about her are are thinking about us.

Good morning everyone. Just rolling my lazy ass out of bed. Boy do I like being on vacation!

 

Today is Wednesday, December 31, 2008. It is the last day of 2008. The weather is foggy with temperatures in the 40s. Currently 42.

Only hours remain before we turn over yet another calendar page and start yet another year. They all blur together it seems. I remain hopeful that 2009 is better than 2008 in many ways.

Keep on keepin' on, kids.

Sad that how use to be nice. Detroit is taking a bad hit....worse than the rest of the country. Pretty tough relying on one industry to fuel the city though. Tracy.....its funny that we actually posted at the exact same time Good morning anyways! Trying to finish crap around house....cold and windy. Parents trying to get me over to do yard work but will wait for a later day.

Very slow...really need to get moving. Trying to plan my attack on how the hell I will get the Christmas tree out the door and into the woods. My GF doesnt like helping with those things. Dont have to do it until tomorrow but still a major PITA. We used to get everyones tree in the neghborhood and burn them until the Fire Dept swore that we were having a devil worshipping ceremony or clan rally? Bunch of folks sitting around a bunch of burning christmas trees. Less waste....(no I dont count air pollution) Smells damn good also! It was funny b/c one of the fire fighters thought it was a good idea! We have burning bans frequently here in GA b/c of the droughts

 

Any of you guys participate in the Irish Moos group buy across the street?

 

I just have to take mine to the county road dept. The take them and dump them in the lake that is 10 miles from us. Apparently it provides good cover for fish.

I got a member here to get me one....ironically my secret santa! I got him some MEM shave cream a while back a we just called it even if he sends me the Moos. I am going to grate it down when I get it. Superlather is considering carrying it though....at least the cream. I have not found the stick anywhere....even looked at Ebay.......every country! I hope it is all that and a bag of chips.

Rolls....if it smells like crap you will be first in line though!

Hell, I was looking at doing at least a few years for beating a guy half to death in a bar earlier this year. It woa damn well worth it. I am to old to go back to prison.
