Since we're on the subject, I used my 1912 Travel again today. Awesome results! I may become a convert yet! Better than yesterday, fo' sho'. It was my second shave on the blade. I found that it dragged and pulled a little bit in places, but no irritation at all whatsoever. I used the Gem by Personna blades I picked up at Walgreens - ASR on the back.

I would like to try some sharper blades. I recall seeing Treets somewhere locally, just don't remember off hand. I'd also like to try some Feather SE and the Ted Pellas, too. Maybe I need to post a WTB thread in the marketplace...

The pellas are good blades.. Dave sent me a few to try and I sent one to Guido Asylum to try with a SE. I liked them.. But I can use the local blades and get great shaves too.

the treet classic DE blades I tried weren't any good
were you guys talking about the TREET SE blades? Never tried those.

 

Yuppers the Bunny is a SE guy.. I know that it is hard to tell... the Treet SE blades are made by ASR and are a good blade for me... but you know how that is ( Glances at burnWood) I did not say it.

1999....That was the heart of my drug years Tripping on shrooms going into the new year. Nice beer buzz and a crazy girlfriend nagging at me b/c I thought here friend looked like the hunchback from notre dame. Good times!
