Would a unicorn hair brush really do a good job?

I'm lucky when my boyfriend sprays some axe and shaves with his mach III and water. I'll train him some day

 

Shep sent me a sample of the rose and I really liked it. I think I will try a bottle of the Rose. Give me and idea of shipping to Wyoming and I will paypal you. I think I will see if I really like it before getting another bottle.

 

So... shipping from Boston to Wyoming isn't much less that $8. I compared the price of shipping from Boston and from Shep's zip. Shep can get it to you in three days for just under $6 and I can get it to you in 6 days for about 50 cents more using Parcel Post. I've got a slightly lower sales tax here than Shep does, I think, so it'll probably even out.

Make sure to get the one that says 'Made in France'. You do not want the one they sell at Sephora that says 'Made in USA'. The one made in the US smells like crap, while the one made in France is wonderful. They're both the same price for some reason.

It's a great everyday scent. It has stayed in my stables for the past 8 years or so and is one of two colognes that I constantly replace (I've got about 8 colognes total). I've got an unopened bottle in my cupboard, a 1/3 full bottle at my girlfriend's place, and a bottle I just recently opened here.

It is also the cologne I get the most compliments on from women. My current girlfriend absolutely loves the smell. A number of my female friends love it and always tell me I smell so good. Yup. This is the one to get. If you're not convinced, I'll send you a sample of it with the TOBS rose. You know what... I'm sending you a sample of it with the TOBS rose.

 

Okay, mission aborted. I just told my wife that I had finally found some Thayers, she has listened to me complain about not getting it for some time. She then informs me that she bought me some for Christmas and gives me the big guilt trip. Sorry for making you do all of the research Dom. Now I have wait until freakin Christmas to use it. I even asked if I could have it now because I already know that I am getting it.:angry021

So she went and found some for you. Very nice. Sorry you had to go through the guilt trip and that you have to wait until Christmas to use it. Don't worry about making me do the research. I actually get a kick out of researching things and this wasn't like I was writing a book or review or something. Just plugging in some numbers. No big deal.

Great disclaimer. It's funny. We (men) all know not to ask our significant others stupid questions when they're already mad. Yet we do so anyway. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing time and time again and expecting different results. I think a few of us in here might fit that definition.

I'm going to send you a good amount of this stuff in a little spray bottle (I ran out of sample vials, so I'm going to send you the little plastic travel atomizer I fill when I travel), so you tell him to use it all up, okay missy? Let us know what you both think of it when it gets to you.

 

Penhaligons has some nice colognes. My problem with them - they're expensive and they don't have very good longevity. I prefer my colognes to last longer.

Thanks that is just too sweet of you! I gave him a call and said once again the forum does not approve and he just sighed and asked what he had to try now. I told him about it and he seemed like he really wants to give it a try. I have a feeling he is a bit sick of the axe too but didn't quite know what else to do. He is just so busy he doesn't spend much time on himself. I have a feeling once he is done with school which won't be for at least another 5 years he'll take more time for himself. Again, thanks so much. I'm sure we'll both love it and I'll definitely let you know when it gets here!

 

Alright. My desk chair is officially kaput.

I cut some of the upholstery off at the offending area. The seat pan base (made of wood) is splintered. I can't get the piece that popped out back in and even if I could, it would pop right back out again if I lean back on the chair.

Guess I'm buying myself an early Christmas present right now.

This chair has served me well. Picked it up for $50 more than four years ago.

R.I.P. Deskchair.

I don't do Walmart (neither does Boston, it seems, as there is no Walmart within ten miles of Boston proper) and don't have any warehouse clubs near me. There's a Target 25 minutes away by car that I could go to. I'll check out their website.
