    wchnu Duck Season!

Morning Tracy. How about mailing some of that snow this way. Just the snow not the rest of it.

There is absolutly nothing wrong with the Williams. I some times use it with a Ss and Clubman to feel like I am back in the day.. so to speak.

Good morning again....to all you late risers! Just had the weirdest shaving moment. Yesterday I loaded up a 7 oclock in an Arist Jr. =terrible shave.....today...put the same blade in the slim adjust(never fail) lathered up my new Noxzema:) 1st pass.....WTH! switch sides....smooth? whats going on? typical 4 passes and it was OK....Noxzema very nice stuff. Rinsed .....freaking stubble still? Blade sucked! First bad one though. I mean it was a horrible shave! I was about to sell the Arist Jr. and thank god i didnt! Will start over tomorrow.....BTW...Noxzema? I will keep it b/c it is good but the damn smell? why does it have to smell like noxzema?

Morning Fuzzy. Can't just have the snow, gotta take the whole package. I shouldn't complain, the more moisture we get now the better the lake will be this summer. We don't get much, if any, rain in the summer so our mountain snow pack is our only source to fill the lakes, etc. Gotta have the water to launch the boat. If you can believe it we have a public lake, not state monitored, about 8 miles from here. In the deepest spot the lake is 117 feet deep. The downfall to this is that the lake only gets to about 68 degrees in late August.

    good morning Tracy, Shawn

just had a DFS with De Vergulde Hand soap, a Feather (day 2) in a vintage slant, and TSD AS splash bay rum....very nice shave.

The slant seems to take away some of the Feather's roughness. I still think I'd like a heavier one though. I love the weight and feel of my Fatboy...

the De Vergulde Hand soap was OK. I'll need to work on it some, I think. Not bad, just OK. I dig the scent.

The last of it was my dinner last night.

12 ounce beers, mainly. It has some good trout fishing but the boat we have is a 21 foot Seaswirl. More for recreational stuff like skiing and tubing, etc. Supposed to be some walleye in there also. I have snagged a few very nice rainbow trout in there but have never really tried too hard. I would rather fly fish streams.

It is actually hand soap that you are using for shaving or does that refer to a hand made soap?

No, that's the name: De Vergulde Hand. It comes in shaving soap and shaving cream. I got it from here at the TSD store.

Fly fishing can be a lot of fun. Little more work because you have to be more patient and there is more assembly required, but fun when you start catching. Trout can be some of the best fighting fish, they really put up a good fight.

If you can take a lesson on casting and it will help a great deal. Oh yeah, it can be an expensive hobby, not really any different than wet shaving.:D

    haha...true dat!

I've been looking at joining the Isaak Walton League up here. I don't know if you guys have heard of them, but they're kind of like an outdoorsman club. I figured it'd be a good way to get introduced to hunting, marksmanship, gun care and safety, fly fishing (the local group has a trout stream), etc... plus it's family oriented and they have stuff for the kids...

The Isaak Walton League is good stuff. I have know several people who have been involved in it and have heard only positive things about it. They don't have one out here or I would have joined by now.
