And you know what? The dangles dangle further when you get old. Sucks, but it's true...........

 

I was soaking my new razors in some OxyClean (which worked great, btw, thanks Tracy!) and thought it'd be a good idea to put the brush in too. Bad idea. The top layer of the bakelite turned into an emulsion and peeled off. But not all the way, in the pic the very bottom of the black part where there's some whiteness to it - that's the emulsified top layer. The striations/ridges above that are where I used an abrasive pad (Dobie pad, to be specific) to try and get the remaining emulsion off. That's when the bottom fell off. The hair was beyond use to begin with, so I wasn't concerned with that - the plan was to have Rodd re-knot it. Oh well. I'll find another......

I don't want to even think about that right now....I had some work done on mine on Friday. I don't think I should have gone out today, a little bruised and sore....

 

Oh well, at least you got a couple great shavers for a good price. My top two razors are a Fat Handled Tech, and a Slim Adjustable.

Well, I got a needle in them....with a local anesthetic so they could then do the vasectomy.

 

I got needles alll the way around.. then stitches all the way around...

i do not have pics.. I will get some when at moms next ,it is a neat razor.. all of them are.

And i did not convert.. i was undiagnosed as diabetic for a long time. that was one of the effects.
