Night all, time for some shut eye.

 

Yeah. I got one, too. I used it a few times, even talked about it here. I wasn't that impressed. It smelled awesome, but it was like a regular detergent bar to me. I used to use Dove body wash, and recently I've used Issy's Bamboo & Teak, and now Dr. Bronner's, and I think I've gotten spoiled by how they treat my skin. The Speick really dried me out. I really wanted to like it, too, it smelled freakin' awesome!

I know you're trying to sell off things, but I've got a bottle of the balm that I rarely use. I was going to put it up for sale soon, but just say the word and whether you say you'll buy it tomorrow or possibly in two months, I'll keep it on reserve for you.

I'm going to make a spectrum. It is in order of decreasing spiciness, which is the best method I could think of to make the spectrum.

Soap Bar --> After Shave Lotion (Splash) --> Shave Cream --> Shave Stick --> After Shave Balm

The balm has more prominent citrus notes than the other items as well.

Oops. To be honest, though, both the Speick Shave Stick and the bath soap contain Tallow, so you might want to experiment and try a shave with the soap.

Morning everyone. Did not try out the Speick bath soap as shaving soap this morning. Used Tabac instead. Decided to try against the grain on my neck, now I remember why I don't do that. Oh well, I needed a good wake up anyway.

Somehow I hit a sweet spot with my lather a couple days ago I haven't been able to get back to again. For now I'm gonna blame my cheap-ass VDH brush. A replacement is inbound but won't arrive for another week.

(Still getting good shaves in spite of that)

 

Morning all! Freezing my ass off but still alive. Shave with the Nancy Boy line this AM, PS, SC, and AS. Very nice stuff! SC can be a little tricky but thick and slick as hell Probably going to try to sell of the PS oil since I am over those times. I just think it does that much for me.
